A good trip spoiled by the guide and driver

I am giving this review a 3* for two reasons. First reason - did not rate our guide Shirley who wasted our time in a group showing us retail and food outlets when the group of all adults could have done this left on their own. There was no constructive line of walking around. We were going around in circles almost reaching our 100000 steps at this rate. To top all of this off, the guide was almost demanding a tip at the end?? I thought tips were given for a good service? How was her service remotely any good? The talk on the tour was mostly about her and how high profile customers had given her generous tips in the past. This is a blatant hint. Secondly, our driver had nothing but road rage whilst returning us to our hotels in rush hour traffic. Weaving in and out of traffic, shaking his head through frustration and putting the passengers in a risky situation. The only thing I got out of this was the views going up in the cable car and the choice of restaurants and bars. If you want a good day, then avoid this tour guide and her driver.

Overpriced..this activity can be booked yourself without viator

This trip was completely over priced. We were picked up by a driver, who dropped us off at the cable car ride without any other information apart from saying he would pick us up from this point at 4pm. Masks needed to be worn on the cable cars, we were not informed about this. I had to queue with those buying tickets to just purchase them. Had I been informed I would have bought the masks before hand. The driver sent us one used ticket for skyworld. My husband had to wait for 45mins for someone in viator to issue another ticket for him. I would not recommend booking this trip via viator. They issued standard tickets which anyone could purchase themselves. We could have just travelled via taxi and bought our tickets ourself.

Our driver was lovely. However, the weather didn’t permit outside adventures and the inside theme park didn’t operate until one hour before leaving. I would recommend not to go on a Sunday due to heavy traffic back to kl.

Great tour of Hinting Highland

Cable car ride, Casino and food spots. It was a miracle to develop the hill in such a fantastic way. Casino registration is uncomfortable process which should be made more respectable. Presently hours together prospective gambler has to stand hours together without having even a stool under his/her buttocks.

The driver that we got explained quite intensively that i knew so much that I didn’t know before, he helped and explained our trip in very detail , and on the return trip he took a road that helped us reach our hotel in record time , and he had all routes on his mind never used the phone

We had an enjoyable trip to the Genting Highlands. Our driver was calm, kind and very informative. We shared the trip with a lovely lady. The cable cars were exciting and the Buddhist Temple we visited was amazing. A very enjoyable experience. Well worth the money paid for it.

You will get Grab taxi at RM60 for one way taxi and go at your terms. They will just take you in a bus and get you ticket for the cable car. Not professional organising, picked us at 8.45 by in a taxi and the bus came at 9.45am. It was shown as Batu Caves and Genting High lands in the itinerary, but they didn’t go to Batu Caves and they giving it as another tour. You can go both the place in one day as Batu cabes is on the way. Just RM 16 Grab taxi and from there about RM45. The guides doesn’t have much clue and they only know to describe about a chocolate shop where they will get good commission. We bought same chocolates at 1/3 price at Langkawi. Me wife n kid, were there and paid $73.5 for the trip. If we took individual taxi and cable car ticket the max expense should be $48 and you don’t have any time ristictions or wait for anyone. My advise is take a Grab Taxi ( like UBER ) to Batu Caves, then to Genting, no need to book this tour at all. It’s viable only if you are a single person. Even for 2 persons this option is expensive. More over you may have to wait or adjust atleast 1 hour for others.

The skyway cable car was great. We had to use the old one so unfortunately couldn't stop of the Pagoda. Will be a much better tour once the attractions open. Really only shopping and eating places to see once up the top.

The most interesting part of the trip was the cable ride and the road from Kuala Lumpur. As for the time spend after the ride it is interesting for kids. Nothing except a small commercial mall with good cofees and fastresturants.
