Firefly tour - thumbs up

Money well spent on this fab tour to see fire flies. Picked up from our hotel right on time. We had a whole car to ourselves. Kind guide who stopped at money change late at night on the way back to hotel. Good dinner included and firefly tour was memorable

Memorable experience

I enjoyed watching the fireflies flash their lights. I would have liked to spend longer watching this and perhaps had the opportunity for a private tour.

Few fireflies

The seafood dinner was mediocre and we only saw a few fireflies. The monkeys were by the side of the road at a park.

Driver spoke very little English and was not a guide at all, gave minimal information. Car was pretty dirty, ants inside. At the firefly boat I had to pay the ticket to include a blue tears sighting (luminescent organisms). No River of a Life Tour was included. The most disappointing tour I ever booked through Viator
Very nice tour

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Rajan TQ was very knowledgeable and shared much information about the local culture, history, and various buildings/businesses as we passed by. The stop at the Fort Altingsburg offered a beautiful overlook of the area and a distant view of the sea; the monkeys were amusing and fun to feed. We then stopped at the bustling riverfront restaurant area and enjoyed our dinner. The meal and facilities were very traditional and a new experience for us. We then boarded the jetty where we were transferred into the dark mangrove swamp to see the fireflies flash and twinkle like Christmas lights. Finally, we returned to Kuala Lumpur where we were able to see the final display of lights for the night at the River of Life. Overall, the tour was very enjoyable. The River of Life display was disappointing as it only played one song and lasted for only a couple of minutes. Our tour guide was wonderful and made this a great trip. He stopped at a roadside stand where we sampled lemang (sticky rice cooked in bamboo) and coconut water. This was an unexpected highlight of the trip. I would recommend this tour and Rajan TQ as your guide.

ドライバーさんが、気配り上手だし、おもてなし精神たっぷりでとっても良い方でした！ ホタルもとっても幻想的です♪ ただ、蚊に襲われるので虫除け必須です（笑）それだけあれば大丈夫！ 川沿いのレストランも美味しかったです♪ 夕日が綺麗で、スピードボートも風を切りながら走っていて楽しくて5歳の子供も喜んでいました！
