Isik, excellent private tour guide for cruisers for Turkish day trips. t

Isik was my private tour guide to Ephesus and the house of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was instrumental in making this one of the best tours I have ever taken. The pick up at the cruise port was a breeze and she had me back in plenty of time. The expense of the tour was nominal and the luncheon we had, because we started early and had time, was very reasonably priced. Plus, they served authentic Turkish dishes that were excellent. My favorite part of the tour was Isik’s detailed, historic and valid descriptions of the sites. Her English is really good and her accent was minimal. Actually, nothing could have been better. My biggest tip for readers is to ask for ISIK.

Ismail Keser was out tour guide and he was amazing. Upon picking us up he let us know that we could personalize the tour to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable at every site we went to. I would highly recommend this tour as you are able to skip all the lines and enjoy a delicious lunch afterwords.

Demand Fatma as Your Tour Guide!!! :-)

Fatma is simply the best. In my many years of travel, this is one of the top tours ever!! Mostly because of Fatma, our guide. She went the extra mile to take us to meet and experience her native artisans and foods. My wife made a pot on a pottery wheel ( with much assistance), she got to weave on a Turkish tapestry with a wonderfully experienced weaver. She took us to taste a sampling of Turkey’s incredibly delicious food. And all of that ON TOP of the scheduled tour. The van was new and beautiful and the driver was awesome and so kind. I can’t say enough good things about Fatma and our trip to Ephesus.

Deniz was our guide for this your. My group of six were all in agreement that Deniz made this tour an outstanding day for all of us. His communication with us was spot on and the information he provided was very informative while not being “too much” as some guides can be. He provided service beyond expectations as one of our group was unable to remain ambulatory in Ephesus and he secured a wheel chair and actually pushed her through the tour. The tour itself hit all the highlights as we expected, spending the appropriate time in each if the venues. I would highly recommend this tour from Kusadasi and especially request Deniz as a guide.

Best Archaeological Tour of Ephesus

Terrific private tour of Ephesus. Ezgi, our guide was knowledgeable, and guided us efficiently through the huge and well restored site. She explained the excavation and archaeological highlights of the residences on the hill, library, and angora we walked through. We also were allowed to add Mother Mary’s house, and St. John’s Basilica to the tour which were a total bonus. Overall, totally worth while for a small group private tour because of the customization and freedom it allowed.

She was on time and we arrived at Ephesus before the crowds. The tour brought the ruins at Ephesus to life: its fascinating history, its architecture, its social structure, and the culture of this important Roman city 2000 years ago. Our guide tailored the tour to our interests and provided us with clear explanations and numerous interesting facts. Her English was exceptional. We were never rushed and were given plenty of opportunities to ask questions and take pictures. This tour is a real value. We plan to recommend it to our family and friends.

Fantastic tour of the archeological sites by Memet. Very knowledgeable and patient. All 3 elements we saw were great. I strongly recommend a guide for an Ephesus excursion. Private excursion and we had the SUV all to ourselves (2 couples), plus guide and driver. I would give this 6 stars! You should research ticket prices, as these are not included and they do add up. We stopped at Virgin Mary site (10-15eu? pp), Ephesus (40) and terrace houses (15). Guides can advance your ticket so you skip the line.
