Relax knowing that everything, including transfers from Bayahibe, lunch, snacks, unlimited drinks, snorkeling equipment, and guide, are all included. And with numbers capped at 30, you’ll have plenty of space on the fully-equipped 75-foot (23-meter) catamaran.
Your day starts with pickup from your Bayahibe hotel and transfer to the catamaran. Soak up the scenery and enjoy informative commentary as you cruise out on the water.
The first stop will be to snorkel with a guide at the reef at Catuana. At Saona Island, play in the water or relax on the beach with a drink. The last stop of the cruise will be at the natural swimming pool at Las Pamillas to see starfish.
Your tour ends with drop-off back at your Bayahibe hotel.

We had the best experience!! There were only around 20 people and we were able to lay on the nets the entire way there and back. The crew was very sweet the entire time and personable. The ride was so fun. The food the crew made for lunch was the best food we had our entire vacation. Right after we got off I wanted to sick up again for the next day. Definitely recommend :)

We had the most fabulous Dayton the Quetzel catamaran. The taxi picked us up right on time and took us to the excursion office in Bayahíbe. Our guide, Mano, met us there and guided us to a smaller boat that took us out to the bigger boat. The boat was good sized and there were about 20 people on the excursion so we had plenty of room to spread out. We sailed for a bit then snorkeled in crustal blue water. Out next stop was Saona beach which was breathtaking. Last stop was the natural pool with the giant sea stars. They allies us lunch, provided snacks and an open bar. Lunch was delicious! After we returned to Bayahibe, taxi took us back to our resort. A spectacular day. Highly recommend!

This catamaran ride was absolutely amazing and so much more than I had expected! I loved that the catamaran was not too crowded, there was plenty of room for all the guests to be comfortable while aboard. We also had plenty of activities to participate in, including the catamaran ride itself, snorkeling, visiting the island, and searching for starfish! After each activity there were snacks and food for everyone. We ate sandwich’s after snorkeling. We had pasta, salad, fruit, and chicken & steak for lunch after visiting the island. After searching for starfish, Mano, our guide had run cake ready for us! There was also unlimited water and other drinks the whole day and Mano made an amazing Dominican cocktail! I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting! Definitely my husband and I’s favorite thing we did on our honeymoon!

About starfish :
There has been a law for several years to protect starfish, I can understand your disappointment that we forbid touching them, unlike many providers who do not respect this point, but it is important for us to preserve the environment. However, we offer a snorkeling session to observe the starfish.

This excursion was 60 minutes from Cap Cana where we stayed. It was the highlight of our trip! We were on the excursion 9-4 and were given drinks, snacks and lunch. It felt very relaxed, never hurried. We left and went to sea and found a spot to snorkel, then went to a beautiful beach for an hour, followed by a last bit of snorkeling then back. We spent most of our time sailing which we loved! Snorkeling was guided or solo for about 30 minutes each if you wanted. Highly recommend!

The food was amazing. Steak, Chicken, fresh avocado, and fruit. The Crew cooked while Lola gave us a tour of an island and beach. The boat was beautifully maintained and the crew excellent. Lola identified all fish and rays seen on snorkel excursion for us.

it was an awesome day! Quetzal employee where very nice and welcoming.
The only negative point is not about quetzal but the website with whom we booked (viator) wich gave us false information on the food (all you can eat seefood and fish). there was no seafood but the beef, chicken, avocado, salads were very good !
Big thumbs up to the captain and crew who didn’t hesitate to jump in the water for a passenger who was having a panic attack during the snorkling part.
It was a beautiful family trip and they don’t overbook the boat so there is a lot of space on the boat and more than enough chairs on the island for everybody.
it is really available in french, english or spanish wich was a very nice touch.
