What To Expect

Your tour will begin with pickup from select Tahoe hotels. A local guide will help you aboard your shuttle, where you can settle in to comfy seats and admire Lake Tahoe’s panorama from the large viewing windows.

You’ll travel along the south shore first, stopping at Emerald Bay State Park, home to the lake’s most beautiful vistas. Step out to admire Fannette Island and the peaks towering over the brilliant blue of the water.

Hop back on the bus to continue along the western shore for a picturesque walk around Tahoe City. Your next stop will be to the home of the 1960 Winter Olympics, Lake Tahoe’s prominent Squaw Valley Ski Resort, where large crowds come to hit the slopes each year. Take some time to explore the mountain village before heading back to Tahoe City. There, your guide will drop you at the Boatworks Mall, where you can purchase lunch at one of establishments overlooking the lake or peruse the shops.

After a 1.5-hour break, you’ll travel across the state border into Nevada, stopping at Sand Harbor for more incredible views. As you travel, your guide will provide fun and factual narration about the area and the sites that you pass. Your Lake Tahoe circle tour will conclude at its original departure point.

This trip around Lake Tahoe was absolutely perfect! We started out by being blessed with sighting 2 maybe 3 bears in a wooded area. This was very exciting! Our tour guide was full of great stories and Tahoe information that he shared with us around the lake. His knowledge and his ability to share in an entertaining way made our trip very pleasant. I have made this trip before and I will again hopefully in the future. I highly recommend this experience.

Great tour! Spectacular views! Friendly and knowledgeable driver. The only suggestions I have are charging connections for iPhone/Android phone or ipads. Plus my wife and I are older and have some mobility issues so a kneeling bus, step stools or driver assistance would be helpful and greatly appreciated for getting on and off bus.

Saw amazing views all around Lake Tahoe. The lake is simply stunning no matter where you are. Also was glad to get a picture of the Olympic flame at Squaw Valley. Lunch in the town of Lake Tahoe was great & it's a great town that I want to spend more time in on my next trip!

The Stop at inspiration point overlooking emerald bay was breathtaking and seeing the Salmon run at Taylor Creek (which the driver did for us after requesting it was an unexpected bonus since it was a non scheduled stop). The driver was very well versed in the history of the lake, as well as all the tv shows and movies made there, and movie stars who live in the area. The can was comfortable and it was nice not to have to drive the mountain roads and figure out where to park to see the sights.

The driver was very nice and had lots of tidbits of information to share, but for the cost of this tour I was extremely underwhelmed. I could have driven myself and seen the same sights at the same stops. We didn’t even stop at the last two! Too expensive for the experience, unfortunately.
