Explore Lake Tahoe at your own pace with this self-guided electric bike tour on East Shore Trail and make stops when you choose to. Your journey along the trail ends at Sand Harbor, a popular area for swimming and boating.

What To Expect

This tour begins at your selected start time. Make your own way to the rental facility (conveniently located in the heart of Incline Village), and get acquainted with your energy-saving e-bike. This beginner-friendly option includes a hands-on tutorial, and all the gear and safety equipment you’ll need.

Once you’re comfortable, set off along the lake and explore at your own pace, without worrying about keeping up with a group. Touring by bike won’t just bring you up close and personal with the scenery: It’ll help you discover hidden beaches, coves, and other lakeside highlights many visitors miss.

You’ll have the opportunity to pause for photo opportunities, a snack break, and even swimming stops en route the safe East Shore Trail bike path, thanks to the flexibility of this half-day rental. The tour beaks at Sand Harbor: one of Lake Tahoe’s most popular swimming and boating destinations.

Finally, your outing ends when you return your bike and gear to the original rental facility.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A wonderful experience riding up close next to Lake Tahoe with spectacular views along the way. The bikes provided were e-bikes which made the uphill portions easy to manage. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Ted for assisting us out of towners. Highly recommend this for everyone.

Very fun ride. Bikes were in excellent shape. Plenty of e-power to get along the bicycle path. Very little traffic. Only had to cross a few roads with traffic lights to get to the main path along the lake.

Honestly me and my husband are still talking about it. We loved the bike trail and plenty of spots to stop and go down to the water. Highly recommend E-bikes for comfort and distance we went 8 miles and we weren’t even exhausted. Beautiful scenic route I will definitely do this again.

Amazing views on a beautiful trail

Amazing views that exceeded our expectations. The trail was close to the facility and the customer service was excellent. First time riding E-Bikes so the team walked us through everything. The bikes were fully charged, easy to ride, and comfortable. The trail was fun to navigate and there were plenty of places to stop and take photos. Sand Harbor at the end cost $2 to enter, but worth it.

Vista Trail Bikes is the best place to rent a bike in Lake Tahoe! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a wide variety of bikes to choose from. I rented an electric bike for a day trip to Sand Harbor, and it was the perfect way to see the lake. The bike was easy to ride, and the motor helped me to get up the hills without any trouble. I would definitely recommend Vista Trail Bikes to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe. If you are looking for a great place to rent a bike in Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend Vista Trail Bikes.
