Begin with pickup at your hotel in Las Vegas, travel to the heliport to meet the pilot, and board an air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. Settle into a comfortable seat with personal headphones—if desired, you may listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon throughout the flight—then lift off for the flight across the desert. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, fly above Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead, then see the Hoover Dam from the air, with perfect aerial views of the recent bypass bridge.
Catch your first glimpse of the Grand Canyon, then dive below the high desert to touch down on a private bluff 3,500 feet (1,067 meters) below the rim, and just 300 feet (90 meters) above the Colorado River.
In the shade of a traditional Ramada shelter, enjoy a Champagne toast and light snacks, chat with the helicopter pilot, or simply enjoy the scenery in an exclusive, uncrowded location. After your time at the bluff, board the helicopter for the flight back to Las Vegas, passing over the Strip on your way to the heliport, where you meet a driver for return transfer to your hotel.

This experience was definitely worth it!
I haven’t flown much in my life and to experience the view from above was priceless. Being inside the Grand Canyon was breathtaking to see at ground level on the bluff.

I took a trip booked via Viatour with maverick for a Grand Canyon helicopter experience 04/11/2024 at 1pm flight time.
4 people: 3 adults (mum, dad, grandma)1 child (5 years old)
The group was split: 2 adults (mum and grandma) 1 child sitting at the front, 1 adult (dad) in the back.
This was fine as we were under the impression that we could swap on the way back.
On the return journey, another couple sat front row and mum was told to stay in the front row.
Dad sat in the back and had to stay in the back for both journeys (whilst everyone else got the opportunity to sit on the back and the front) he did not get a chance to sit at the front and this meant he had restricted views both on departure and return to the grand canyon.
When questioned to the pilot, he said we were at maximum capacity for weight and the seats could not be changed.
If we knew this on departure to the canyon, we would have changed our seating so everyone had a fair chance- kept dad and child together. However this was not explained to us and this situation could have been easily avoided.
Especially as we had paid $2595 for this once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent excellent excellent! The feeling when the Helicopter enters the Grand Canyon is beyond words. The magnificence and majesty of such an impressive natural wonder is best seen flying in it at a low altitude.

This trip is an unbelievable experience . The helicopters are so roomy with a great view. Seth our pilot made the day very enjoyable , snd was very informative.landing on the canyon was a magical experience and had a picnic and Prosecco arranged on landing .
