I've been in Peru for almost a week and have taken 4 tours so far. This is without a doubt THE BEST TOUR I've taken so far. On time pick-up. Small group. A/C controlled van. You'll visit 4 beautiful restaurants where you'll taste several dishes with a drink as well. I ended up ordering extra drinks because they were delish and I'm a lush hahaha. Carlos was beyond amazing - he loves Peru and walks you through the history of Peru in a digestible manner. Oh and the walking tour of Barranco tops it all off! Take this tour - 6/5 stars!

OMG! Carlos was absolutely phenomenal. He is so knowledgeable and passionate. His love for food and his work shines through. The dishes Carlos picked at every restaurant were amazing! I would recommend this tour a million times over. Leave lots of room for all the delicious food!

The gourmet food tour was all it was cracked up to be! Kimberly was an excellent guide who explained all about the food delicacies we were eating and also some Peruvian history along the way. We ate at four different restaurants. All had excellent food and drink and each had it’s own special ambiance. Barranco is alive with energy and would have liked a bit more time to explore the area. I highly recommend this tour while in Lima.

Food was really great and loved the choice of restaurants. Could have done without the pastry as a 2nd stop. Didn’t feel it fit in with the gourmet theme. A long tour considering what you actually taste. Lots of driving.

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Amadeo, was fantastic - friendly, knowledgable and gave us great recommendations for restaurants on top of everything else. The tour gives a comprehensive overview of the historical centre of Lima. The visit to the catacombs was particularly interesting and a cool experience! Amadeo shared facts and historical anecdotes, keeping the tour engaging and fun throughout. I highly recommend this tour!

Nice but not worth the expensive price

We did the evening food tour. It was nice to see 4 different venues and the food & drink were very delicious, however, we don’t think it’s worth $135 per person. Online they promise a small group but we were 13 people which we wouldn’t count as small. When we arrived at the venues there was not enough spaces set up for everyone so we had to squish round the table. You only got 3 drinks in total and there was not an abundance of food as we were sharing plates between 13 people so we weren’t completely full by the end. It’s a nice experience but we didn’t think worth the very expensive price.

Client satisfaction is the lifeblood of our business and as a small team, we can be flexible and creative to find the best solution for our guests and would have loved the opportunity to address your concerns directly. You’re right, the day of your tour was indeed irregular! Unfortunately, as flights were canceled, some guests were re-accommodated to a later tour so that they could keep their reservation with us. Simultaneously, we received your same-day booking through a third-party platform, where we have less control over last-minute availability. While our groups average 6-8 passengers, our group limit is 12 people and around the holidays, more people travel. In your case, we were at 11 when we received your booking and debated whether to make an exception and entertain a group of 13, one person over, or cancel the last booking and issue a refund. Our decision in this isolated incident ultimately was to help travelers have a great time in Lima and not leave anyone stranded on the holidays. It seems that wasn’t the right call for everybody and we are sorry to hear this affected your overall experience. Again, the groups average 6-8 people, but this year we will thankfully have more staff on hand in this kind of situation as we are finally starting to recover after two years of the pandemic and a coup d’etat. Should this situation arise again, we will keep your comments in mind. We were slightly taken aback to learn that the amount of dishes and cocktails served was insufficient. The overwhelming majority of client feedback describes an abundance of food in all of our experiences. The portions are calculated on a per-person basis and don’t affect the ration size. Regardless, we take all guest feedback very seriously and we are reviewing the menus and the items ordered to ensure that no one finishes hungry. Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts and giving us a chance to reflect on our policies. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your Peru trip!

We did this culinary food tour while in Lima. They picked us up from our hotel in a luxury sprinter van. It was a small tour with 8 of us. We stopped at 4 restaurants with food and drinks served at each. COME HUNGRY, preferably fasting since 10am. All the food and drink selections were tasty. Our guide, PATRICIA was PHENOMENAL, entertaining, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend this tour while in Lima.

The tour was excellent and delivered on all accounts. Carlos as our guide and historian was very polished and gave wonderful insight into the Peruvian food culture.
