Best Slovenian Walking tour

It was an excellent tour. Klemen the guide was very nice, with great knowledge of Ljubljana. He gave us snacks, traditional Slovenian cake, red carnations for the ladies on the tour. Our boat cruise was so Relaxing. The walking tour was interesting, with tips for restaurants, shopping and activities, it made our stay so enjoyable. The small tour group four couples made it easy to converse and is not overwhelming like the other tour groups. Thank you Viator for a great experience.

Wonderful Way to Uncover Ljubljana’s Hidden Gems

This was a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Ljubljana. Our guide was awesome and taught us so much about the city. We booked this only because we wanted to go on the boat cruise, but we were treated to so much more. We learned a lot about Slovenes and uncovered several of the city’s hidden gems. We recommend this to anyone staying in the city.

The history of Ljubljana as told by Klemen was very interesting. Particularly liked the water fountain sculpture with all of the small heads leading down the alleyway. Klemen was very engaging and fun.

First of all, I absolutely LOVED this tour! Certainly, Ljubljana is a beautiful and amazing city. But our guide Klemen made it a thousand percent better! He was fun, informative, knowledgeable, super-friendly, and highly skilled. He made us feel so welcome, and he is a great listener. During the walking part, he not only showed us a variety of Ljubljana's sights and shared many historical facts and anecdotes, but allowed us to savor some of Slovenia's tasty ooerins. The highlight was the boat ride down the river. The charm of Ljubljana was all around, and againn, it was a treat to hear more of Klemen's knowledge. He also chatted amicably with us and encouraged us to talk about anything and everything! All in all, Ljubljana is an amazing city, and Klemen made it even more amazing. I can't recommend this tour highly enough!

We loved this trip, where you get a lot of different views of Ljubljana, you get to know the culture, the history, local interesting points (touristic attractions as well as local traditions, restaurants), food, etc. In the description it says "smell, feel, taste" (or something like this, I forgot the actual wording), and that is really what it is about. I can only recommand! And I would recommand to do the trip on your first day in Ljubljana (or one of the first days), so that you can use the useful information that you get on the trip for the following days.

Walking tour and boat trip in Lyubljana

Tour had to be amended due to river conditions so no boat cruise but this was no fault of the guide who was excellent who did his best to make up for this shortfall by buying fresh raspberries for the tour group and also at a later stage cakes. Would certainly recommend this tour but it might be better in the summer months when the river would be calmer and one could then experience the boat trip

Klemen was kind and well informed. The river was closed so we couldn't take the cruise. Klemen made up for it by showing us more of the city.

We really enjoyed the tour through the food market. We got to sample several items as we walked through the market and that added a lot to the experience. I thought the walking tour was very interesting. He showed us several interesting sculptures that we would have never found on our own. He has a lot of pride and passion for Slovenia and he shared that in an entertaining way. Loved the boat cruise part of the tour as well.
