We will meet outside the entrance of the main ticket office at London Bridge Train Station. Walk in to the centre of the station and the ticket office is at the bottom of the escalators.

What To Expect

In the morning, make your own way to London Bridge Station, board a train (tickets are included in the tour cost), and head straight down to Brighton in Sussex. Next, meet your guide and hop aboard your minivan, with only a small group for company. After a scenic journey filled with onboard commentary, you’ll arrive at Devil’s Dyke, where you’ll enjoy the views from the top of the South Downs and learn about why the valley got its evocative name.

Your next stop is Middle Farm, a traditional Sussex farm where you’ll stop to enjoy lunch and visit the quaint tea rooms. Then, on to the main event—Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in England.

Then, you’ll walk around Seven Sisters Country Park to absorb views of the striking white cliffs contrasting beautifully against the azure sea. Finally, return to Brighton, where you'll catch the train back to the city. Your tour ends back at your original departure point in London.

It was such an amazing trip. I think the route was time-efficient, so I was able to see many beautiful places one day. The guide, Lawrence, is a friendly and also informed person. Thus, he explained historical, cultural and geological facts about this trip. I could learn many things. When it comes to the Seven Sisters, he brought us the best place to appreciate them. It was really fantastic. I am so satisfied, and I strongly recommend it.

Beautiful countryside and a must see

Fantastic trip out of London to Sussex. Steve was your guide and driver and was very knowledgeable plus safe. A must to see the unique cliffs and stunning countryside outside London. We were taken care of from the tube in London to the Sussex tour and back again.

This was an amazing tour. The views were incredible! We were lucky to have a perfect day of weather and could see for miles across the Downs. The tour covers a lot of areas, but we never felt rushed or hurried. There was ample time to enjoy the scenery and take as many photos as we wanted. We went to Beachy Head, Birling Hill and Seaford Head to see the cliffs and surrounding coast from multiple angles and WOW! If you’re looking for a relaxing day trip from London to see some spectacular countryside and coastline, this is your tour. Paul, our guide, was excellent. Local to the area he was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. It was overall a wonderful day and I would 100% recommend it!

Really enjoyed learning the history behind the sites visited. Kevin our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a lot of walking on uneven surfaces, muddy slopes, and hilly places. If you aren't physically fit this tour might not be the one for you.

Lovely tour, I was picked up in London by a really nice Sr who accompanied me and two other people to Brighton station. In Brighton we met our guide Adam who was really friendly and knowledgeable. A Tour Not to be Missed

I’ve been on some beautiful fabulous tours before, but this one was among the best. The beauty of the Sussex countryside took my breadth away not to mention the White Cliffs of the Seven Sisters. One can not travel with a better guide than Paul. His knowledge of the history of the Sussex area and of the Seven Sisters created an enjoyable educational day. He truly is dedicated to providing his travelers with a most memorable day. Also, hats off to Ish who met us in London and went out of his way to research the simplest/easiest way for me to travel back to my hotel at the end of the day. Being intimated and unfamiliar with the London Tube system, he helped put my concerns at ease.

I really liked that the trip included escort from London to Brighton. For someone not familiar with the tube and trains it was very helpful. The guides were very nice and knowledgable. The tour was wonderful and met all my expectations. The history, the stories and urban legends were wonderful. Seeing the earth literally go from chalk to flint stone in brilliant color is like seeing history in front of your eyes. It was truly a wonderful tour and I would recommend it to anyone curious about geology, beauty, and history.

Highly recommend this trip! The photo stops were stunning, and you have a good amount of time at each. Delicious scones and hot cider at our food stop. And our guide, Adam, really made the day so much fun. We got lucky and had a small group but I’m sure this is just as fun no matter how big the group is.

Book this trip! Every part of the tour went smoothly, and you’re guided the entire way (even from the initial train station meetup point, so no chance of getting lost before you start). Both guides were very pleasant and fun to chat with, as well as other travelers in the group (as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable). The scenery on the tour was amazing with enough time to take it all in and take pictures if you wish. Being I went in November, it was cold and the tops of the cliffs can get windy, but not a problem if you dress accordingly. Would go again!
