Amazing to see so much of Luxembourg in one day!

The day was impeccably planned and organised. The pacing was great--we saw so much but I didn't feel overwhelmed. I learned a lot about Luxembourg in one day and felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. I thought the itinerary was fantastic--we saw a bit of everything, from the historic centre to caves and waterfalls.

It was an amazing tour specially with our tour guide (Ken) who was very kind to all of us, and very knowledgeable about his beautiful country; he made sure he explains to us so much about every part we visited. Perfect city and country tour in one day

This is the perfect tour if you have limited time in Luxembourg like we did. Ken is a wonderful guide. I love when you have a local guide whose pride of his country shines through. The tour begins with a walking tour of Luxembourg City then you hop on a van to tour the countryside. We went to Vianden Castle, rode a chairlift for an aerial view of the area, stopped at a couple of nature spots and visited Echternach (the oldest city in Luxembourg). If you're lucky, like we were, you'll get a surprise at the end. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in Luxembourg and really enjoyed the day-trip around the country on the Saturday. Ken and Christian went above and beyond to make the journey as enjoyable as possible! Ken was extremely informative and made every destination a stress-free one. He was also ready to meet the needs of the group by providing water along the way (which was needed!), and providing the perfect amount of time for the different stops. We came curious to know more and left talking about about when we should come to Luxembourg again!

So much stuff in one day and SO GOOD

We did it ALL!!! Started out with a walking tour where we learned a lot about history and the government. 48% of the people living in Luxembourg are ex-pats from 200 countries!!! The buses are free y’all. Free. And hybrids. And clean. Ken was our guide. I appreciated his enthusiasm, his jokes and his helpfulness. Then we went to a castle! It just happened to be the Medeivel Festival at Castle Vianden. It was amazing!! Next we went on a chair lift that took us way above the castle. So beautiful. Next, a small waterfall and some lovely hiking spots. Then the oldest town in Luxembourg. These are short stops but the views and scenery is fantastic. Then to a winery. Phew. I’m beat. And it was well worth it! I will say this is quite a bit of walking and the baby hill up to the castle is steep. Definitely wear comfortable shoes.

We only had 1 day in Luxembourg and this was an excellent tour to see and do a lot in 1 day. We took a walking tour around the city center with the guide. Then drove to Vianden Castle and had plenty of time there to see everything and eat lunch on our own. We then took the chair lift up for high views. We drove around the countryside, visiting a natural park with a water fall. We walked around a small town with a visit to a large church and ended with a Winery tour and wine tasting. It was a full day and I learned and saw a lot. Ken and Christian (guide and driver) were great. We had plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks and to be out of the van in the fresh air. This was an excellent tour that I highly recommend.

We explored and learned so much about Luxembourg City as well as several places outside the city center: some highlights were Viaden Castle, a chairlift up a mountain, the Moselle winery region & winery tour (delicious!) Because of this tour or our tour guy (his name is Ken) to be exact, my perception of Luxembourg changed from very negative to “I will be back in the summer”. Ken is very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide, who speaks English very well. Traveling by bus and train was easy and actually pretty interesting, since you can see countryside of Luxembourg. Castle is all the way up the hill, so be prepared to walk a lot, so wear comfortable shoes. Also, Ken made a reservation in a very nice restaurant for lunch with a lot traditional food. Everything was absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, I would highly recommend visiting that place, if Ken suggests.

Amazing tour! Ken was the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and informative and very patient with me as my one of my knees was hurting (welcome to your 30s)…he made reservations for us in the best Vianden restaurant. I loved this tour! We were the only ones in the tour. Would definitely come back during the spring or summer and will contact Ken again! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My guide, Ken, was very friendly and provided detailed insight into the history and culture of Luxembourg. He got us to Vianden early so we were one of the few people inside the castle which allowed us to enjoy the tour peacefully and snap photos before the crowds arrived. Afterwards we walked the city walls, visited the main cathedral along with the Victor Hugo museum and enjoyed a scrumptious Luxembourgish meal for lunch before heading back to Luxembourg city. Highly recommend if planning a trip to Vianden!
