Wonderful Trip, Great Guide and Ship Staff!

Our cruise on the Nile was an incredible experience and one of the favorites of our vacation. The staff on the boat was absolutely phenomenal. They were kind, welcoming and showed every day that they truly loved what they did. From funny jokes to teaching us beginner Arabic and dancing with us on the deck, all of the chefs and service team members on the cruise made it extremely memorable. One of our favorite members of the staff was Mohamed Shakour, our guide. He was phenomenally knowledgeable, and had the ability to give us dates and a rich background on each archeological site. He could point out beautiful artwork and drawings on many of the temples that showed an attention to detail beyond any of the other guides we had over the two weeks in Egypt, and relate it to the stories of ancient Egypt. He can even read hieroglyphics! Beyond this, he is a lovely person and a joy to get to know. One difficulty we experienced was that Bassant, our initial connection person from the cruise was not a good communicator and was pushing us to join events to see sights prior to the cruise that we had already seen or that did not fit with the cruise schedule or our schedule. I finally had to request to speak with someone else to even get the name and location of the boat. The person who Bassant arranged to pick us up then tried to charge an extortionate amount just to visit a last temple in Luxor for only two hours. Not a great first experience, but the rest of the cruise made up for it.

I did the 3 nights four day Nile cruise including Luxor and Aswan tours and also the optional Abu Simbel trip. It was perfect, the trip, the cruise ship and all its staff, all the guides that were arranged for me for each tour were amazing. Special thankyou to Hatem. This package and especially for the price is a must if visiting Egypt and you want to cover a lot of the beautiful sites in this beautiful country. 110% recommended and thankyou again to the company, the guides and drivers and to all the staff on the ship 🙏
