    Brilliant day trip from Malaga. Enrique was the BEST guide ever! Efficient, knowledgeable, gave us loads of tips on Malaga and sooo thoughtful - even dropped some of our group back directly to their cruise ship because they were worried about time.

    Although there was no communication on the ride to and from Malaga, our guide Christina provided a wonderful tour of Alhambra. What an amazing display of mosaics and molded plaster detail. The gardens were also spectacular! We didn’t have time for lunch or much shopping, so it was a long day, but well worth it.

    I would have left five stars, but the guide at the Alhambra did not help us find our way from the palaces to the exit! We had to meet our driver, and we were all in a panic as to how to get out of the city. It took us 30 minutes to find our way to the exit. Fortunately, we left exactly 30 minutes to get back to the driver which was before the guide had completed the tour. We asked if he was going to return with us to where he met us and he said no. So we have no choice but to leave on our own before he had completed the tour. Everything else about what you provided was five star.

We regret the experience you had with the guide in the Alhambra, you have to take into account and understand that you have to meet certain deadlines so as not to suffer delays in the group visit and that the rest of the participants are not affected by the possible delay, if they had chosen a private tour the guides can accompany you since they go with the clients all the time; As it is a group tour, you have to follow a route with the rest of the group and the departure point is different, therefore you cannot end the visit at the departure point, return back inside and leave again. That is why the meeting point with the driver always appears in the planning that we send to our clients the day before the tour on Google Maps, to make it easier for our clients to meet the driver again, however our office is always available at If you need help, you can call us whenever you need it.     Guide was very knowledgeable and site visited was spectacular. The ride from Malaga took about 2 hours to get to Granada.
    An experience in Alahambra

    The Alahambra was beyond beautiful. Our guide, Natalia, at the site was very informative and engaging. I did have some issues at the beginning of the experience. There was inadequate communication about the transportation at the initial meeting site. My booking stated that a bus would pick up at the meeting site to transport us from Malaga to Granada. Instead a car came for transportation with nothing to identify they were the transport. Fifteen minutes after we were supposed to be picked up, another guest at the pickup site had to ask around until we determined the car was the transport. After we were in the car, someone from Viator called us to inform us a car, not a bus, was picking us up. The driver was very nice and the ride was pleasant. When we were dropped off at Alahambra, there again was a lot of confusion from the other Viator tour guides on where to meet our English speaking tour guide for our tickets and to begin the tour. A guest from the French speaking tour directed us where to meet our group.

    Great service - picked up in van by Paco. Was a bit shocked at size of group when we arrived at the Alhambra but our guide Natalia was awesome and handled it perfectly with the aid of the ear pieces. She was informative and fun. Do the palaces as extra as they are the most beautiful part

    August 2023 At the time of Booking, One assumed that the most visited "Nasrid Palace" would be included in the Alhambra excursion, but sadly it wasn't. Therefore the whole day trip was wasted and was expensive for what we paid and got! Warning to all tourists to ensure "the entrance Ticket for the Nasrid Palace is included, otherwise, this excursion is not worth it, bearing in mind that it was a 2hr road journey each way from Malaga City to Alhambra. The adverts on the Web are not clear and it can be misinterpreted. We shall not be using this firm again.

We regret to inform you that the different options provided on the Viator website to visit the Alhambra are explained very clearly and in detail in the description of each option offered. Although as we have explained to you via email and with screenshots of the product you booked, it is clearly specified that you chose the activity without the Nasrid Palaces. Furthermore, we would like to emphasize that the Nasrid Palaces are 20% of the total monument; it is a very restricted and delicate area and tickets are very limited, which is why it is recommended to make the reservation months in advance and not do it on the day prior to the visit since you are risking to don't find tickets left for Nasrid Palaces, as it was the case in your booking. We didn't have available on the web site the full option for Alhambra as it was sold out. We only had available option without Nasrid Palaces at the moment you did the reservation and that was the option that you choosed. We hope this information is useful to you. Kind regards

    We had about an hour in Granada to get something to eat before the tour. Tour was around 3-1/2 hrs. Alot of walking, only got one 15 min break. Enrique was our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the facts. Would recommend if you can walk for that long. Make sure your tour includes the Nasrid Palace.

    Seamless trip from Malaga to Alhambra

    Came off a cruise ship in Malaga. Booked this tour after a delay forced cancellation of our ticket reservation at Alhambra and it was better than the one we previously had, we were picked us up at the port and made for a seamless visit to Granada and the Alhambra. Our guide, Igone, was terrific. Very informative and paced the tour just right. A great experience.

    A complete mess

    The tour of Alhambra was great, but the lack of organization and communication was a complete disaster! Several of the customers were given incorrect pickup points; the driver was parked in the van at the end of the lot, and most persons could not find the van. He spoke no English, so communication was non-existent. I personally had totaled his customer list back to the terminal and round up several customers. The customer list was incomplete, and we ultimately had to double back to the terminal to find another customer. We ultimately left late, and because the driver spoke no English, we were completely in the dark about what to expect, and what the plans were. Lots of upset and angry passengers! Stopped in Granada where an English speaking person showed us to bathrooms, only to never again appear. The driver ( no communication!) transferred us to Alhambra. We finally met an English-speaking guide who did a nice job of touring the site, but neglected to guide the group back to the van. The driver ultimately drove at breakneck speeds to get us back to the cruise terminal 15 minutes after late boarding. The entire tour, which should and could have been an excellent, was fraught with tension, anger, and anxiety. Totally unacceptable!

    Dear Larry, We received your review about the Alhambra guided tour from Malaga last week. We are sorry that you did not fully enjoy the experience due to some incidents during the tour. First of all, all clients are assigned a meeting point with the driver when they make the reservation. In your case, you properly selected the pickup at the cruise terminal. However, there were more than 6 customers who mistakenly selected the city center and were traveling on a cruise. None of them properly notified our company that they wanted to change the starting location. On the day of the tour, from 7 in the morning we were trying to help all the clients who called by phone when they arrived in Malaga so that the pick-up was done in the most convenient place for them. Unfortunately it is true that communication with a driver who does not speak English is difficult and that did not help. Once the pick-ups from Malaga were reorganized, they finally arrived in Granada later than usual due to the initial confusion. I, personally, was the guide that day and I can assure you that I did my job in the best possible way, showing the Alhambra to all the tourists who accompanied us that day. After the visit I left them next to the exit so they could freely go to the bathroom or buy something, the meeting point with the driver was only a 1-minute walk away. In addition to being the guide for that visit, I am also the manager of the agency and I can assure you that it is very frustrating trying to make everything go well, coordinating the different people, guides, tickets and drivers so that in the end the results are not as expected. I am deeply sorry that you did not fully enjoy your visit, we take your comments to continue improving some aspects such as communication. However, I must also say that if you have any constructive criticism, it is best to speak to the agency personally. It is not necessary to post a negative comment because it is very harmful for a small company like ours. Kind regards

    It was a nice trip as the Alhambra is a beautiful place. Be cautious when booking. When I read the description it said the Nasrud Palace entry/admission. But apparently when you go to buy it is supposed to give you options. I only got one option so I just clicked on it. Turns out the option said without Nasrid Palace. Who would have thought that the main description didn't match what I actually purchased. I got the issue the day before the tour and I tried to get a refund but was refused. In talking to the guide this is quite common. It seems like they should change the booking process.

You realized in advance that you mistakenly chose the option without Nasrid Palaces and you let us know. At that point we explained to you the different options but unfortunately it was too late to get general admission tickets. The cancelation policy of Alhambra is very strict and for this reason refunds are not accepted in this specific tour. Still, we hope you enjoyed the rest of the tour - including 70% of Alhambra. Next time make sure you book at least 4 weeks in advance in high season to avoid any issues. Regards
