Little of Everything
Laurel_T, Nov 2024
Options are limited in the off season on Martha’s Vineyard. This is a great way to see a little bit of the whole island!
Stan, the man, a wonderful tour guide/driver
Wayne_K, Oct 2024
The driver and tour guide was Stan, and he was fantastic! What a knowledgeable gentleman! Stan was thorough in weaving together places of interest with stories and history about the people of the island. A wonderful experience.
Girls Trip
Faye_K, Oct 2024
Stan the man is an EXCELLENT tour guide! He is very knowledgeable and personable! (Even though he’s a Jets fan). GO BILLS!! There were 5 ladies in our group on a girls trip. Stan gave us a lot of useful information on what to do and see while we were there. Best tour on the island!!
Great tour
Stuart_P, Oct 2024
Stan was a fantastic tour guide, so informative and shared some great stories of him living on the island.
Interesting guide great stops, but better equipment needed
Nancy_K, Oct 2024
We really enjoyed the guides commentary although the bus we were on had a PA system that was not working well and the windows were almost too dirty to get any good photos. The stops at the fishing village and the stone oven bakery run by an indigenous woman or our favorites, the island is quite large and a lot of the driving was so fast passed things that we really couldn’t enjoy those as much as we had hoped to
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Haven't had any problems with our pa system.... It's brand new actually.... Hhhhmmmm.... Plus we rinse our vehicles every morning and cleaning is done by a crew.... Hhhhmmmmm
A day on Martha’s Vineyard. 70th birthday trip.

The local stories from our tour guide gave us an idea about life on MV. Our group was small and friendly. The bus was clean and comfortable.
Stand the man

Stan was great, very professional and personable he added his own personal spin, which made it more enjoyable
Great Tour
Kevin_F, Sep 2024
Stan was our driver and guide. He grew up on the island and shared so many personal experiences and anecdotes which made the tour so good. We learned about the different towns and their economies, traditions and way of life. We made great stops and Stan knew everyone. Especially interesting and fun was hearing about the filming of ‘Jaws’ from someone who was there. I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’ll get Stan as your guide!
Very informative
Rex_W, Sep 2024
Tour Guide DeDe was a lifetime local resident and very well informed. She possesses a wealth of information about the island so we learned a lot we didn't know.
Above and beyond...
MICHAEL_N, Sep 2024
Our ferry was rereouted to Vineyard Haven instead of Oaks Bluff due to weather. Tour owner reached out to our guide who called us and said that they would wait. Our Guide "Stan the Man" was clearly under the weather but he "manned up" for our tour. He added a few extra stops beyond the basic package and even dropped us off at our relocated departure point. Highly recommended!
Best tour! Best $65

KEVIN_M, Sep 2024
great trip loved it all. would definitely recommend to others. Stan was the man knowledgeable and accommodating
Too long...
Janet_B, Sep 2024
We enjoyed the tour but felt that three hours was too long to see the important sights Our departure was switched the night before to an afternoon departure, which was fine. Our driver, Stan was great, but we stopped many times, at markets, fish shops and places that were of no use to us, since we were all tourists, not residents. Besides, the air conditioner in the vehicle was not working well, so it was very stuffy throughout. We found Stan to be knowledgeable and tried his best to fill the time, but three hours was way too long!
Response from Host, Sep 2024
We couldn't possibly show you everything and give you time to move about and explore in less than 3 hours.... That's the first time i've ever heard about it being too long..... Most say they can't get enough..... However, all of the stops are not just for residents They are definitely for tourists...Otherwise we wouldn't stop there..... 😁
Good experience overall.
Debra_M, Sep 2024
The tour guide was very Friendly and knowledgeable. It would have been nice to see the Gingerbread houses. He could have stopped and let us walk and look at them for a few minutes. And the stops need to be longer.
Response from Host, Sep 2024
Thank you for your review.... The Campgrounds where the cottage are don't allow us to drive thru.... And the spots are the perfect amount of time for each spot.... the tour would then take 4 hours.... That's why we have a private tour Next time you come, you could possibly look into a private tour and then you can pretty much do and stay where ever you like for however long you like.... 😊
Excellent trip
BARRY_B, Sep 2024

Great Guide Makes The Difference!!!
Maureen_R, Sep 2024
Our driver & guide was extremely knowledgeable having lived o the island overv30 years. He made the tour enjoyable with his sense of humor & personality! The owner called my cell when we didn’t arrive at the meeting site. We went to another ferry dock. She stayed on the phone until we could see her while following her directions.
Quaint Island of Martha's Vineyard
Robin_M, Sep 2024
It was nice to tour the entire island and to have time off the bus to explore and take photos. Rest stops were welcomed. "Stan the Man" was very personable, knowledgeable and his assistance getting on and off the bus was greatly appreciated. He was a terrific driver and tour guide.
A very nice introduction to the Vineyard
Deborah_J, Aug 2024
I appreciated that Stan called shortly after we arrived on MV to direct us to the van. The tour was an enjoyable experience and a great way to see a good portion of the island and learn a bit of history. We really appreciated the bonus stop to the farm to get some fresh produce or baked goods. Hats off to Stan for adding that for our small group.
Great tour
Lynn_J, Aug 2024
Great way to see the island. Guide was local and shared several observations and memories that made the trip special. Tour included several stops to take pictures and stretch your legs. Bus was comfortable.
