This tour is an opportunity to snorkel at Molokini or another nearby coral reef before embarking on a whale watching cruise in search of humpbacks. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and it was apparent that they love their job - it was clearly their goal to make sure every guest had a memorable and awesome time. We saw a dozen or so whales, mostly due to the captain keeping his eyes peeled and pointing them out to us. He was respectful of them, turning off the motor and letting us drift near them. The lunch was unexpectedly delicious and the food was abundant. The water was fairly warm for snorkeling and we saw some unusual fish along with interesting coral formations. Alas, no sea turtles today! The open bar after snorkeling was a real treat and the fresh cookies before we disembarked, along with orange slices was another delightful surprise. There was even a slide on the boat which was quite popular, especially with the teenagers with our group. This is the whale-watching tour to take!

Our veteran skippers have decades of local expertise, which as you noted, makes all the difference in the world, when it comes to locating and respectfully viewing the majestic humpback whales. We have been refining the amenities you appreciated so much for over 40 years, though in my mind, it is my crew who truly set us apart.

Fun snorkel and whale adventure

We saw did some tremendous whale watching that sandwiched beautiful snorkelling. On the snorkel we saw the largest sea turtle any of us have ever seen and many other colourful fish. The lunch was very yummy and even though it was a windier day we felt safe on the boat. The staff was excellent and extremely attentive, they were full of life and created such a fun atmosphere!

Very windy when we started but calmed later. Wonderful lunch aboard then found a great place for snorkeling. Saw a sea turtle who swam with us. Saw numerous whales! One was about 50 yards away. Boat wasn’t crowded at all. Had about 50 people on ours and it holds 150. Crew was fantastic and very informative.Would do it again in a second!

Experienced pilot who pointed out the many whales on our way to our snorkling excursion was very good. We had a choice of a variety of food options as well as drinks. On our way back to the harbor we enjoyed great cookies and fresh pineapple.

We loved going on the afternoon tour! We saw many whales and when we arrived at Molokini we were the only boat there! The water was clear and calm and the guides said they haven't had those conditions for a long time! The workers were kind and friendly and ensured that we had a great time.

Afternoon Maui whale watching

The trip was excellent. The boat wasn’t overcrowded like other whale watching trips I have been on. The crew took plenty of time so you could maximize your experience. We also had a decent amount of time for snorkeling. They had plenty of food and a good choice of drinks on board. It was also definitely one of the longer trips offered. Price was very fair for what was offered.
