Shelby was an awesome guide! It ended up just being my husband and I on the tour with her. It was the first time snorkeling for both of us and she made it easy and so much fun. We were able to see some turtles and lots of cool fish. We got some awesome pictures and had a blast. Highly recommend this tour.

Joe was the best tour guide - very patient as we learned how to snorkel and was committed to finding us turtles and all other sea animals. I loved the small group tour, I also liked that we went right in from the beach and didn’t have a boat ride. It was about an hour in the water which was perfect amount of time for me. I recommend taking a life preserver - makes it easy to just float and you don’t have swim as much or if you freak out for a second, you just float. And I highly recommend the hand held propellor upgrade - was fun to just buzz around. Thanks Joe for an amazing tour!

Great experience! The weather didn’t allow us to go to Molokini but the team adjusted and we went to a different reef that was beautiful with tons of turtles, fish, and coral. Definitely must know how to swim; some of the people in my group were caught off guard by that. The reef was a short swim out (quarter mile or so). Lifejackets and little hand-held propellers were available to help you get out there. Lifejackets free, propellers were $50 to rent. If you got too tired, the instructor had a boogie board you could hold on to if needed. Joe was a great instructor! He took pics and short video clips on his iPhone that he airdrops to you afterward.

I was literally terrified to do this but at the same time wanted to so bad! Joe was awesome! Made me feel safe, calmed me down so I was able to swim with the turtles, see an octopus and starfish! Highly highly recommend this company and Joe as u will have an experience of a life time!!!!!

We had a great time on our New Year's Day snorkeling tour led by Joe! He made our first-time snorkelers (one of whom was very nervous) super comfortable and it was a lot of fun -- octopus (octopi?), turtles, an eel, colorful fish, beautiful scenery! We highly recommend!

Outstanding snorkel trip with NO BOAT INVOLVED!

If you are like me and the very thought of a boat bobbing on the water turns you green and running for the dramamine, but you're tired of missing out on everything fun in Maui, this snorkel trip is for you! You swim from the shore, way, way out, and see SO much wildlife. It's one hour. I am no olympian--was very confused about how I was going to stay afloat for an hour--but weirdly they were correct--with the fins on you just float along the surface and do not have to tread water or even use your arms for swimming. We saw everything--so many turtles, so many fish, beautiful coral reef. Joe was guide, did a great job despite one person in our group struggling from the get go (he brings a boogie board out so you CAN hold on to that if you need a rest). now one criticism I have: we do not need for you to bring up any animal so we can look at it. Diving down even 10 feet, I felt the enormous pressure of the ocean pushing on my mask, my ears (you don't have to dive, I just did). So I imagine these innocent sea creatures really feel the absence of that pressure when brought to the surface. Joe and others: humanity has evolved (hopefully most of us); we are content to look only, and not disturb! I am glad you didn't get anything for us to touch, but you tried and I didn't want you to. Other than that: AWESOME trip, highly recommend! my kids and my friend's kids (all young teens) did great on this and all loved it!

The guide was very friendly. We saw lots of turtles and he made extra effort to take photos and videos of turtles with us. At the end of the tour, we saw endangered monk seal. The guide gave us extra 20 minutes to hangout with the seal and he took extra videos of it playing.

Joe was a fantastic host for our snorkel tour ! We had a ton of fun. Saw a shark and lots of turtles, got to hold a very unique type of starfish and a sea urchin. Highly recommend !

Don't leave Hawaii w/o snorkeling!!!

Snorkeling in Hawaii with Robbie, Joey and Derrick was by far the highlight of my four days of activities in Hawaii! We were a smaller group (5 participants and 2 leads) with many first time snorkelers (myself included) and all leads answered our questions to make sure guests were comfortable and confident in the water. Once we got in the water, we had an opportunity to see and take pictures with a sea urchin, octopus, turtle and reef shark, while remaining respectful of the sea creatures (our guides educated us on the different sea life and how to best engage with them in their natural habitat). After our snorkeling tour, Robbie, Joey and Derrick were very gracious and offered local recommendations, which made me feel even more immersed in the local culture. I was hesitant about snorkeling and what I would/wouldn't engage with in the water, but I can't recommend this experience enough!

Joe is a phenomenal guide. Meeting spot is clear and process is explained thoroughly so you feel safe the whole time. This is not a boat tour but rather you swim a very small distance from shore to the reef, meaning you don't spend a full day of vacation time on just one activity. Super beginner friendly and a nice time. Photos are a great touch, and the fellas gave excellent recommendations for things to do in town. Would certainly recommend.
