I did 6 hrs jungle trek with Nang Nang and Purim and had the most amazing time. Not only because we saw 8 orangutans but also because as a solo female traveller I felt very well looked after from the begining right until the end of the tour. Purim prepared the most delicious food and Nang Nang was so good in spotting wildlife in the jungle. I also so enjoyed tube rafting even though I normally don’t feel confident in the water. Please do not hesitate to book this tour. It was so much fun! 🦧🦧🦧

We could not recommend this tour enough- we were picked up from our accommodation by TukTuk to the edge of the jungle where we met our tour guide, Ian. We trekked for an hour before Ian made us a gorgeous fresh fruit platter to fuel us for the walk to come. The views were gorgeous from the hike and we were told about various animals/trees/ sounds that we encountered. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a delicious Nasi Goreng that Ian had prepared that morning in the middle of the jungle. Then, we continued and were lucky to see a mother orangutan and her baby! We then made our way out of the jungle and returned to Bukit Lawang via raft which was brilliant. Overall, a very special day made better by our brilliant tour guide.

We had a lovely day in the jungle with the nicest and funniest guides, who told us many fun facts about the nature and the animals. The lunch was amazing homecooked Nasi Goreng. You experience a lot even though its only a one-day trek. Big recommendation!

Merci à Éric de nous avoir fait découvrir son univers, nous avons pu observer pleins d’espèces de singes différentes et une maman et son bébé ouran outang dommage que ça soit si furtif mais tellement enrichissant de les voir dans leur milieu naturel. Attention trek réservé quand même à des personnes ayant l’habitude de randonner (tour 9kms D+350) taux humidité très fort pensez à prendre des chemises et pantalons.
