What To Expect

Choose between a morning or afternoon start time and then receive a pickup by private vehicle from your hotel in the El Poblado or Laureles area of Medellin.

Along with a guide ho specializes in cartel knowledge, visit key locations and monuments from Escobar's life, including a church used by Escobar and his men to obtain “blessings” for bullets they planned to use in hits and one of Escobar’s favorite eateries. You’ll also see the house where Escobar was finally murdered by the authorities and the cemetery on the outskirts of town that houses his remains.

Upgrade to visit 'La Catedral,' a hybrid “jail” and vacation complex where Escobar negotiated with the Colombian government to stay in order to avoid prison. Your driver takes you back to your Medellin hotel at the end of the tour.

Andres was an absolute great tour guide. He gave us so much history of Colombia and Pablo that I was impressed. He left no stone unturned and it was well worth my time! I would suggest this tour and Andres to anyone (especially Americans that doesn’t speak Spanish) to ask for Andres! We got a huge bonus while visiting Pablo’s gravesite, Memphis Bleek was also visiting Pablo’s gravesite and we got to talk to him and take pictures with him as well. The cherry on top! This tour was great, and I recommend it very highly...The guide was fantastic!!!! Very friendly, was able to conduct the tour in English or in Espanol...great stories and information and Pablo Escobar and some of the important places in his life. But even better, being on this tour I felt included in an authentic Colombian, and an authentic Medellin, experience. I would definitely go again to take friends or family who have not had the tour before.

The tourguide didn‘t talk a lot and we had to ask for Everything. He stayed in the car at the stops. Only at la cathedral he came with us and told us a little bit about it. Way too much Money for that lazy tour.

AMAZING! We loved this 4 hour tour, it was great to see and hear the history behind such a notorious man! Andres was great! He kept us well informed and no question went unanswered. Highly recommend - although, the cost to go to the cathedral was not worth it as there is nothing to see there anymore. This is a must do in Medellín!!!!

However, regarding La Catedral, there are very important places that remain there such as the Helipad, the famous escape route, some buildings and the killer view of the entire valley of Medellin from 8,000 feet above sea level! Like guests say, "Just getting to see the view from the only spot in town where you can experience the whole entire view of Medellin, is well worth it"! I believe you were the guy who was sick though...and stood in the car from what I understand. Anyhow, I hope you felt better after. David is very well informed, insightful, conversant, experienced and discerning and I would recommend asking for him specifically as my tour guide. He is also very emotionally intelligent and a thoroughly learned, conscientious, perceptive and a highly sophisticated young man. Our guide John made our last day in beautiful Colombia unforgettable! There's nothing but full points to give for his knowledge, kindness and effort to tell us everything about Colombia's history and achievements while visiting the most important Medellín-places of the Escobar story. David, let's go over the real facts. We went out of our way to pick you up in another county, NOT Medellin, which was not included in the tours pick up point. We usually charge more for this, but we were kind enough to hook you up with that for free. Speaking of hooking up, you and your buddy came on board with two young..."very young" escorts, to put it nicely, (young enough to be your daughter), which btw, we have strong law enforcement rules against this conduct with a heavy jail sentence for people like you who come to our city to exploit the youth. We anticipated the type of person you were when you called the office to complain that the guide didn't speak English, when in reality, you had jumped to conclusions because he didn't hear you because you had the girl on you. We stipulated that our guide was raised in North Carolina with fluent English, certified by the Ministry of tourism, and even offered to furnish you his license with documentation credentials. This was a gimmick on your part to try to get a refund and freebees. Speaking of freebees, you wanted to add La Catedral Jail upgrade to the tour last minute, but you were cheap about it, so again we hooked you up with half the price for you, your friend and the girlies just to make you happy. But no, nothing is good enough for you, right?! The tour turned out to be a 6 hour one, not 4, remember you ate heavily at the restaurant, which in reality we don't sit down and eat there, good guests just grab a cheese bread to go. We say this in the tours description, a snack, not a full blown sit down for hours eating like it was a buffet or something. You must not remember all the stops, after all you were busy with the girl you hired, therefore, I'll refresh your memory, you were reluctant to get out of the van at the Victims memorial site because of that same reason, you were "too busy". We have pictures as proof, should you like us to furnish them to you so you can refresh your memory. Even though you were difficult to say the least and not the typical awesome guest we get 99.99% of the time...STILL, we tried to help you out with a helicopter tour. BUT AGAIN...you tried haggling your way in a very machiavellic manner, inducing us, trying to get helicopter ride for a fifth of the price! You even offered to dump off the girls...only thinking about you and your buddy to get a mega price reduction, remember?! We explained in every single way humanly possible that we don't own the helicopter and that the price is set, regardless if it was just you and your friend, or with the girls you wanted to dump off. There is no need to lie regarding the price of our tour or our tour in general, you had a good time, you just wanted a free ride in everything possible without caring for others. Your review will not affect us at all, people know who we are, they have seen us in documentaries on Netflix, Discovery channel, CNN and other venues. We are a solid, serious and an impeccably honest company that tours fine guests from.all around the world with those same characteristics as us.
