What To Expect

Begin your adventure in North Miami, where you can choose between a stand-up paddleboard or a kayak, with all equipment included in the package. A guide begins with a demonstration of basic paddling skills to ensure you're comfortable and ready for the journey ahead.

Embark on a route that takes you through a lush mangrove jungle. As you navigate the serene canals, keep an eye out for diverse wildlife such as birds, crabs, fish, iguanas, raccoons, and maybe even dolphins.

Partway through the tour, take a break to relax, swim, and indulge in a fresh fruit snack accompanied by a selection of drinks. Enjoy complimentary, unlimited access to beer, hard seltzers, and bottled water.

The experience is unhurried, allowing everyone to savor the natural beauty and tranquility. Once everyone is refreshed, the group will paddle back to shore, concluding a memorable trip through the mangroves of Miami.

There is no bathroom available during the tour as we will be on a kayak/SUP. Bathrooms are available before and after tour.
The tour will go ahead whether or not there is rain, you will be notified if the tour is actually canceled by the time the tour begins.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Keep in mind these are wild animals, so sightings of any specific animals are not guaranteed.

This is a cool experience, but it is definitely physically demanding. There is about two and a half hours of rowing through shallow and deep water. It is very beautiful though. Absolutely recommend.

We only saw birds. Water was rather choppy. But kayaking was fun. The kayak company was awesome. Viator was useless for me. I wish I had just booked directly. I had made a mistake in my booking time. Didn’t realize til late and Viator did nothing to help. I was on my own.

Horrible horrible experience. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I was traveling with a big group of my family, paid around $500 for us all to have this experience and when we showed up the tour guide was not present and would not refund us our money. Our tour was for 2pm and we arrived at 2:02pm. I understand we were “late” however, there should be at least a 10 min grace period, especially if there is not going to be an option to receive a refund for being 2 minutes late!! If you decide to do this tour I highly recommend not getting stuck at any red lights while navigating your big group of family members. Ruined our entire trip and I’m out $500 for nothing!!!!!!!

This was definitely a great call for a long weekend trip to Miami. Shawn was my guide and he was really great! He was laid back and had a lot of really great things to share about the history of where we visited and also conservation efforts. I was a solo traveler and they were able to convert a double kayak for me so I could have my own boat. While it’s definitely possible for a first timer, I think you’d have a better time if you’ve been in a boat before. Basic instruction is provided but if your goals is to become a competent SUP or kayaker, you should probably look elsewhere. That being said, I really appreciated the freedom we got to explore what interested us and to go at our own pace with points to regroup. I’d absolutely do this again.
