    What To Expect

This walking food tour begins in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. After a meet and greet with the guide, it’s time for a flavorful and fun adventure.

Visit family-owned and operated Cuban restaurants to sample the fresh flavors of the local cuisine. The Calle Ocho area of Little Havana provides an overview of the neighborhood’s traditional flavors—favorites like homemade mamey and flan ice cream, chicken- and picadillo-stuffed plantain cups, guava pastelito, plus coffee, guarapo juice and much more. Many of the Cuban dishes are prepared from family recipes that have been handed down from one generation to another. All tastings are included and sum up to a large, full lunch.

This tour includes more than just food, however. Meet some of the Cuban artists in their studios, listen to some traditional Cuban music and watch skilled Cuban cigar rollers at Havana Classic Cigar. Also, visit Maximo Gomez Domino Park, a landmark on Calle Ocho.

The tour concludes back at the original departure point.

    Calle Ocho is cool
    Zumi_V, Apr 2024
The best Cuban coffee, mojito, guava & cheese pastry, and cuban sandwich had, served in the breezy humidity of the Calle Ocho corridor; the weather was perfect Miami and my friend and I enjoyed taking in the neighborhood and hearing the stories of how Little Havana came to be. With much passion and interaction Orlando, our young intrepid tour guide, wove his own immigration story into the stories and history he shared about the colorful neighborhood. Great food choices and the tour really conveyed the pride and legacy and the possibility of the Cuban culture alive in Miami.
Orlando is the best with the Little Hava tour!
    MaryJane_S, Apr 2024
Orlando was a rock star leading this tour. We learned a lot about the Cuban culture and delicious food! Highly recommend this tour!

Little Havana with Orlando - the perfect tour
    Lance_B, Apr 2024
Orlando, our guide was excellent! Very charismatic, well informed, a great story teller and a really nice guy! The tour itself was an easy walk from stop to stop and always a bit of shade so never too exposed. The food served at each stop was excellent and in big portions - except for the coffe which was done in the sharing tradition as small strong shots from a sharing cup. Our favorites were the empanada, the Cubano Miami sandwich and the fresh warm churros. Yummmmmm!!!
    Great experience

We had a wonderful time on the Little Havana Food Tour. Aimee was an excellent guide. Her knowledge and insight into the Cuban culture really elevated the experience. She was upbeat, energetic, fun and very responsive to all of our questions. She took time well after the tour had ended to help us plan the rest of our evening in South Beach. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Miami.

    dan_m, Apr 2024
Helena did a wonderful job of bringing life to the history of little Havana. Fun to try the food and beverages (especially the mojito), meet new people and businesses on Calle Ocho. Definitely would recommend it (ask for Helena).
    Shoutout to Ayeli! Great tour!
    Casey_D, Apr 2024
Loved this tour! Ayeli, a native of Cuba was very informative and took us to only the best places! She was very kind and happy to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
    Great “taste” of Little Havana
    Jennifer_B, Apr 2024
We loved getting a “taste” of Little Havana on this tour. The first stop (empanadas and coffee), the bakery (guava pastry) and the last stop (churros) were our favorites. Our guide did a great job at telling us about the history of the area, projecting her voice and answering our questions. Calle Ocho isn’t very big and you could explore on your own but this makes things very easy and you wouldn’t get the information from the tour which was great.
    Andrea rocks!
    Nathaniel_S, Apr 2024
Andrea was wonderful on both the history of Cuba and Latin America in general. The food was great too and our kids are most of it!
