Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What an amazing and informative time! And Andre our tour guide …what can I say about Andre besides that fact he was top notch, informative, made an amazing rum punch and was definitely eye candy for us! I would highly recommend this excursion and hopefully you will have Andre guiding your tour like we did! We are still smiling because it was so much fun!

Wonderful experience would definitely do again. The people there were so nice! Bring cash if you buy drinks and food it’s expensive.

The person operating our raft was extremely rude. His attitude made the entire experience terrible. It just seemed like he was frustrated the entire time. Also my massage lasted all but 1 min. This was planned during my bachelorette trip and I wish I spent it doing something else.

It was ok.. we came in from a cruise. It was a lot of driving. When we got there, the massage part seamed like a chore. They massage you for maybe 4 minutes tops. They were trying to charge more for everything. $50 for a drink.. $10 for a massage.. which was already included.. just not really that good of experience.

Didn’t come get us, was unable to communicate with us , waited almost 2 hours before contacting Viator and they still was unable to reach them, ruined my friend birthday

We contacted you as soon as we regained service to our WiFi and cellular connection. I apologize again for the inconvenience caused by this incident. You also received a full refund for your ticket.

The limestone massage was nice, history of the bridge was also great, tour guide was awesome but the length of raft was extremely short, knowledge of the bridge and bamboo was nice, I’d definitely go again but the different expectations and budget

We’re happy to hear that you had a great time on your tour despite it not being as long as you expected it to be. The full duration of our rafting experience is 1 to 2hrs. The rafting experience is 20 mins down river and 20 mins back to the loading dock. The additional time consists of the limestone massage, taking pictures and buying souvenirs or lunch during the rafting experience. If your interested in booking a longer rafting experience you can check out our Martha Brae River Rafting tour packages. Which is approximately 1 hour in length but does not include the limestone massage or any additional services offered at the Great River.

My experience was very disappointing. Pick up time was pushed back TWICE by 2 hours. We only received 30 minutes on the raft while our excursion time stated 4 hours. Captain on the raft was rushing us while we were taking photo’s because we didn’t want to spend any money on locals. Our driver left us there so we had to wait an additional hour for another driver to come pick us up. This excursion was also supposed to stop by hip strip/ margarita ville and we did not. Literally the only excursion I wanted to participate in & it ruined my whole experience. Still waiting on my full refund.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the duration of the rafting aspect of your tour. I’m not sure what you expected but you got the same experience as everyone else that participates in this tour. The total duration of the tour is 4 hours as stated in the description. That 4 hours includes round trip transportation, Bamboo rafting and stop at Hip Strip for shopping. Your driver did not leave you at the attraction because he was not the driver that was assigned to take you back to your hotel. You also requested not to be taken to the Hip Strip because you wanted to go straight back to your hotel. Please note that we’ve several bamboo rafting locations in Jamaica and all offer something different. For example: Martha Brae River Rafting is longer in length and time spent on the raft but they do not offer additional services like the limestone massage nor do they decorate their rafts like at the Great River in Lethe, Montego Bay. You also requested a partial refund which was granted by the company along with discounts on other tours you requested.

We enjoyed scenery and bamboo ride however our tour guider did not accept well to being told No.. He goes by the name Jackass and he became just that which interfered with the whole vibe.

Our trip was amazing. We had Andrew and he was so dope on many levels. My boyfriend and I enjoyed this excursion, his hospitality, and his generosity. He made sure we had a wonderful time, I got a foot massage (he has good hands) lol... We got some bamboo straws he made right in front of us, good music, many pics and more. I will definitely book with this company once again. Note** I do recommend to book early as possible as we got to be out in the water full time and before it got packed and crowded.

If I could give this place an -0, I would! I should’ve know this place wasn’t it when I kept having issues with confirming my pick up time a month in advance. Finally two weeks before the trip after constantly reaching out I get a pick up time of 9am. I get to the meeting spot it’s 905 I reach out to make sure I’m in the right location. The guy answers the phone confused as if he didn’t know he had a tour. He tells me he’s going to give me a call back in 5 mins. I gave 25 mins and called back no answer. Called back again the same. Lucky my hotel did booking in the lobby as my birthday vacation would’ve been slightly ruined… Needless to say once I requested a refund and the company received the request I was contacted.. THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT RELIABLE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked my reservation & i was emailed a pickup time of 2:30pm. At 2:06pm I got another email stating that it was raining on the river & did I want to reschedule, no I could not because I was departing in the am. I politely asked for a cancellation request then they proceeded to tell me they were already at the property to pick me up. I called the bamboo raft company directly & was able to show up & book for $90 for 2 people together & of course it was not raining on the River. I do not recommend this company at all.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to your tour being cancelled due to weather conditions. We’ve several rafting attractions in Jamaica. The one advertised on this website is located at the Great river in Montego Bay. On the morning of your tour it started raining therefore we had to cancel or reschedule all our reservations for that day. We offered to reschedule or cancel for a full refund but you weren’t available for the next day. The Bamboo rafting that you were able to book is located in the parish of Trewlany, It can be raining in Montego Bay and Sunny in Trewlany. You also made mention that you paid $90 for 2 people but you failed to mention that the price did not include transportation, limestone massage or decorations on the rafts. We offer all of the above including time allocated for shopping, sightseeing and lunch.

While I was looking forward to experiencing the raft limestone tour, only for the driver to NEVER ARRIVE! After he called to confirm pickup and called AGAIN to apologize for being late but that he was TEN mins away. Ok. Cool. 10 mi s turned into NEVER! He stopped accepting my calls. The hotel even attempted to call, with no response. Not to mention, VIATOR themselves tried to call him, but he sent us all to voice-mail. Thank you to Viator for agreesing to refurnd my money. His name is Alex from Best Of Jamaica Adventure Tours! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Good day, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by us during this experience but we’ll not accept responsibility for you trying to cancel a booking 30 mins before pickup. Please note that Viator has a 24 hour cancellation policy and only they can issue a refund if you miss their deadline. Your tour was scheduled for the 14th of April at 9am. On the day of pickup we sent you an email and text at 8:30am to confirm your 9am pickup. You then informed us that your not feeling well and you would like to cancel the booking. We suggested rescheduling for the following day which was the 15th and we agreed on a 10:30am pickup. On the morning of the 15th you tried to reschedule again for 10am because you had another excursion booked with another company and you didn’t want to be later. You were informed that the driver is already on his way to the resort and we won’t be able to accommodate you at 10am. The driver called you at 10:30 am to inform you that he was at the gate for pickup but all calls went unanswered. We then got a call from Viator that the customer is requesting a cancellation and a full refund. Viator did not issue a refund because you tried to cancel the booking a day after your tour was scheduled. Thank you
