Overview
Spend a day in nature on this tour, which will take you to a waterfall, a hot spring, and a coffee farm. Your driver will pick you up and take you to Materuni, where you'll hike up to Materuni Waterfalls. You'll then visit a coffee farm, where you'll get to roast your own beans, before heading to Kikuletwa Hot Springs for a bit of swimming and relaxation.

We had a great time on our tour!
It started out a little rocky as the guides were late. I don't have Whatsapp, which limited our ability to check in with each other but one of my travel companions reached out. We were able to get an update and the guides were apologetic once they arrived and made sure we still had time to everything. This was the only so so part of the experience and the guides made up for it.
We started out at Chemka Hotsprings to avoid the crowds. This worked out perfectly for us! The water temperature was comfortable (more like a reasonable temp for a swimming hole than a hot spring in my opinion) and the pools were great to swim in. One was more active than the other with a rope swing set up. We spent a couple hours swimming around.
Materuni was beautiful! The hike to the waterfalls does descend a fair bit and I had to go slow coming up but the guides were patient. They were great about taking photos for us. The coffee tour was also a highlight - you could tell that the group was enthusiastic about what they did, which is infectious. The coffee and lunch were delicious!
Overall we had a great day!
