From Muscat, get picked up and taken on a full day excursion that takes you to both Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole, and includes a hike in there too. This is a small group tour, and lunch and refreshments are provided. You’ll jump into several pools today, and hike through the gorge, so bring some non-slip shoes and some sandals, too. One of the best parts of the pools are their clear blue water.

Fantastic experience but you need to be fit!

Fantastic trip but you need to be pretty fit as the walk there is over really rough terrain. We could not have done it without the help of our excellent guide! The pools were lovey and refreshing and the have worth the squeeze through the opening. I think the sinkhole was a waste of time - we would have preferred more time at the wadi I. The pools there staying cool!.

Excellent day tour with Abdurahman as our tour guide/driver. He made us feel very safe and secure all the time. Highly recommended tour since we were able to hike up and swim in the Wadi Shab and reached the caves. Also the beauty of the Bimmah Sinkhole is amazing. Great tour.

Had a wonderful time. Abdullah who was our guide for the day was fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable. The Wadi Shab was a great time well guided and lots of places to take pictures and have some fun in the water. This was my first solo trip and it was great to experience something in a group and not feel crowded. Recomended for solo traveler

Best excursion Oman!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked this tour but it turned out to be our favorite tour in Oman! You start by taking a short boat ride across the river to the beginning of a hiking trail. The hike takes about 45-60 minutes at a relaxed pace. The base of the canyon is green with vegetation, which stands out from the rest of the desert. The hike ends at a series of natural pools where you continue your journey by swimming. The pools end at cave with a waterfall inside. Watershoes are recommended. We didn’t have any but luckily the tour stops at a gas station on the way to the wadi where you can buy a pair of watershoes for cheap ~3 rials. On the way back to the City, you stop at a sinkhole where you can do more swimming. Mahmood was a great guide!

This was an unforgettable amazing day! Loved every minute of the place and would camp there a week if i could. Very worth doing! Exceeded all my expectations and I would never miss this trip! Our guide, Mahmoud was absolutely fantastic and super organized and informative. Omanis are very honest and helpful by default. Mahmoud went the extra mile for everyone - 1000% excellent customer service! The van was new, clean and spacious, great music on the route, and all the cold drinks and snacks you could want. The hike into the Wadi was absolutely stunning!!! The swim was fantastic and refreshing, and the water was so beautiful. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Listen to the guide and follow his instructions closely. Including the packing list before going. Also important: When he says we move as a group and to always keep him within sight, follow that rule. Unfortunately we had a couple of people who did not and they disappeared to take photos somewhere and held up the entire group for a long time (making us late for lunch and having to look for them constantly) which was not cool. Be respectful of everyone's time and enjoyment; 2) If you can't swim or are not a good swimmer, get the life-vest BEFORE you board the boat to the wadi hike trail head on the other side of the water. There were 3-4 of the 10 people who couldn't swim and didn't listen to the instructions to get a life-vest before we boarded the boat to the wadi trail. They missed out on a great swim. I don't know who books a swimming tour who can't swim or doesn't get a life jacket. What did they think this was? 3) The pools are deep freshwater, no salt, so the water is heavier than the ocean - so you need to be able to tread water and swim as you can't always touch the bottom, especialy in the last pool where the cave and the water fall are. So if you aren't a confident swimmer, get the vest - loads of people do - no shame; 4) Please silence your cellphone notification noises before going into the van. There was a super rude guy whose phone was going off every frikken 5 seconds. I had to ask him to please put on silent/vibrate which he did until lunch and then put his phone on the table to kepp beeping loudly through the whole lunch!! Be courteous of all the other people in the van please. Despite a few rude people in the group, there were fun people in the group and people made friends; the tour was super enjoyable, beautiful, we learned and did so much. It was a fantastic excursion with a fantastic guide!! Oman's nature is unspoiled and incredibly beautiful. Do not miss out on this trip! Worth the time and money. THANK YOU MAHMOUD!! Shukran!

The entire tour is worth it. Guide/driver Abdul was great. He was very supportive and helped me swim to the waterfalls. Wadi Al Shab is a great attraction. Very scenic views. Bimmah Sinkhole should be visited when the sun is high up in the sky to witness the clear water. Things I did not like: -The bus wasn't very comfortable and felt cramped. They should use better transportation option for the price that is charged. -Drop points were as per the order of the pick-up which was very strange which led to increase of almost 30-60mins for most of us.

What an experience! Our wonderful guide Abdullah picked us up in a mini bus, and drove for a couple hours to Wadi Shab. We started with a quick boat ride, then a hike and a swim to reach a cave and waterfall. It was perfect. My one regret was not having a waterproof pouch for my phone to take pictures. Afterwards, we had lunch then drove to the Bimmah sinkhole, another beautiful work of natural art. I can’t recommend this adventure enough!
