This absolutely the scariest ghost tour I've been on in a while in that experiences were discussed calmly, methodically and with real life experience AND pictures that planted the seed of the past and history of the area very persuasively and hence the scary part. It was excellent and loved the weaving of history and even current events into the echos of our past

Not worth the time or money! Disappointing!

Not much was memorable unfortunately. The young tour guide was enthusiastic and knew his lines, but the stories were all so disjointed. For example, one old tavern, was once a war office, yet a couple dozen bodies from a mass slaughter of what is assumed to be Indians were found under its foundation and a ghost of a woman prostitute when it was a brothel, in addition to two young boys (no background). I’m still scratching my head about the mass grave and he’s on to 3-4 other stories of shallow substance that went no where! There were 10 of us and I’m pretty sure we were all anxious to be done. A big disappointment. Most hauntings were oddly in the 1970s (?!) and they seemed rather like ghost stories shared around the campfire. A big let down!

Too many stories

Kim is great but the stories are way too long and after a while standing around in one spot you get a little ancy if that's the word. I would rather just walk and be told what each location is while you walk instead of standing around listening to an hour story in total. When you think one story is going to end all of a sudden another bunch of stories start again and I just left in the middle of the tour I couldn't do it anymore she's fantastic it's just that you have to shorten the stories.

Hi Lisa! We are so glad you enjoyed Kim as a guide. Our tour is a storytelling tour designed for about 7 stops ranging in 10 - 12 minutes each. Rather than blowing by to point things out -- we want guests to appreciate the significance and embrace each story. Our tour guide was very nice. Full with fun information and facts. The tour on a whole was fun. Interesting to hear all the stories but just found them a tad too long. Maybe shorten the stories and add more stops. Overall fun.

The guide was very well versed and knew the stories he was presenting, however, the stories were overly long and became rather boring after a while. There was too much standing around at each location. Tour could have covered more area or been much shorter.

First photo: we could see orbs near a particular grave with our naked eyes. Snapped a picture and one was appearing and moving downward. Second photo: zoom into the grave center screen. We could also see occasional plasma appearing with our naked eye and I took the picture, capturing it on film.

Unfortunately there was just to many in our group . Tour guide hard to hear and a child keep talking . We expected to see more and have more history. All you do is getting pointed to places u don't really go. Like see thar church way over there up a hill ... then some story . See that house across the water then some ghost story. We lost interest when it seemed like all we hear about was haunted bars by ex drunks. We do tours in every city we go to , this lacked alot .

Hi there! We're so sorry that you felt the tour was lacking. We received other great feedback from the same tour and know that sometimes in our big October groups, there can be loud guests. We try to keep our tour walkable (fort mystic is a big climb) and downtown mystic is flush with restaurants and bars though on the tour you learn that's not always what they were and most are haunted by historic spirits.
