Would highly recommend Cool Beans cruise and captain Jerry!! Jerry took his time to give us an amazing tour and lots of history. We seen a bunch of dolphins and wildlife. Very down to earth and made all of us feel welcome and comfortable aboard the cruise! Definitely do a tour with these guys!!

Wonderful sights and memories

Captain Dave was excellent! We enjoyed a lovely trip exploring Marco Island homes and Big Marco Pass. We loved the relaxed and knowledgeable approach by Captain Dave, making it a wonderful experience for our whole family!

Informative captain! He knew the area well! We saw many active dolphins and Many species of birds made it a great tour! We loved the short walk from the boat to the shelling in the Gulf. Comfortable seating & cold drinks made for the perfect day. Also, nice recommendation for lunch after at the Gypsy Cafe! We loved the atmosphere & the food!

Highlight of our trip

We are doing this again…The entire process from booking to check-in to arrival was seamless. The whole operation is well-run, Captain Dave was the utmost professional- kind, knowledgeable, prioritized safety and made sure we had a really great charter. The sights, wildlife, local lore and anecdotes + all of the information gleaned from asking about 3288272 questions from animal habitats to real estate questions all made for an incredible night. Did I mention the sunset and the scenery?? Hot tip- you can book a double or an all day charter. We booked a 2 hour which was fab but might do a double next time and try a different route. This boat was also accommodating to people of all ages…My 81 year old Dad has some mobility issues and I always fear embarking and disembarking. The boat is on a lift so level with the dock so you don’t have to do a giant step up or down on unfamiliar stairs- a huge win!!! Do yourself a favor and book and buckle up for an incredible night viewing the isle of capri/marco/keewaydin.

Cedric was the best! We had a 1 year old and. 3 year old with our family. Cedric was flexible to do whatever worked best for us. He has many years of experience and clearly knows and loves the waters in that area. We completely loved our time on this excursion! Thank you, Cedric!

I booked this private cruise for my family of four and we all enjoyed it. Captain Cedric was knowledgeable of the area and offered great insights. We were able to spot and follow some dolphins and we found some nice shells to take home. The pontoon was very clean and the refreshments that were included with the trip were great. We would definitely book another trip when visiting.

Extremely unprofessional & distasteful

My experience with Cool Beans Cruises was anything but cool. Our trip started out about 15-20 minutes late, causing us to wait in 90+ degree heat with no shaded space to wait or even a bathroom on site. Within 5 minutes of starting our cruise, our one year old baby fainted due to the heat and we turned around immediately. Upon our return, we were greeted by Captain Kelly who was only concerned if our boat was having mechanical issues. When he was repeatedly told it was a medical emergency, he then instructed me to go inside and pay without asking if our son was okay or by providing any offer of medical assistance, shade, water, or a cool space for him. When requesting a refund for our trip, I was denied, accused of extortion, and told that my communication would be considered harassment. Incredibly unprofessional and distasteful experience overall.

Dear Maria, We were waiting for this bad review to appear out of your threats to write one if your money wasn’t refunded. First off, you did not book directly with Cool Beans , you book through Tripadvisor, which along with them we require a 24 hour cancellation. Our boats are located at a marina which is an outdoor marina like all others. Yes you will be exposed to sun since it is an outdoor activity. In you email confirmation and text re-confirmation we tell you where the restrooms are located. Our guests are welcome to wait in their air-conditioned cars in our parking lot if they would like to get out of the sun as well. The cruise went off on time. You brought a one-year-old child onto the vessel that was required to wear a life jacket. Your one year-old was irritated and crying, which made you return within 5 minutes and requested a refund. Never did Captain Kelly who is the owner tell you to go inside and pay (there is nowhere to go inside and pay) and you were prepaid through TripAdvisor. Never did you request medical attention for your child. If you did, of course, we would take that seriously. I would like the individuals reading this review to know that a company with 15 years of a great reputation would not have any of these items occur.
