    What To Expect

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is the home for this popular American art form, safeguarding over 2.5 million artifacts, and featuring two expansive floors of gallery space, highlighting permanent and limited-engagement exhibitions.

Touring the two floors of the Museum’s gallery spaces, guests follow the evolution of country music, within the context of American history.

Visitors experience that evolution through a diverse mix of displayed artifacts, video footage, and carefully selected sound recordings. Biographical panels and audio tours tell the stories of those who have shaped the music, from Jimmie Rodgers to Hank Williams, through Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, to Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire, and beyond.

Many artifacts from today’s groundbreaking artists such as Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban are on display in the contemporary gallery space. Visitors of all ages can discover connections between country music’s past and artists of today, and have the chance to engage with interactive stations. Highlights include recording and songwriting areas, a forty-foot guitar, music trivia, and more.

The museum offers amazing tour experiences and opportunities to play an instrument, enjoy an archived film, or hear live music from country legends and renowned songwriters, with over 250 programs and activities each year.

Four unique shops—The Museum Store, Circa, Hatch Show Print, and the Haley Gallery—located on the property offer a great selection of books and music, museum souvenirs, original artwork, locally-made gifts, and country lifestyle apparel. Also, be sure to grab a bite to eat at one of our three restaurants—2|22, Red Onion, and Bajo Sexto Taco.

    Great Learning Experience

The museum is a bit conventional in the format of the museum..a walkabout, but the content is worth seeing if you’re in Nashville for the country experience. Go early to avoid lines.
Sharing it with my aunt. ...

Sharing it with my aunt. Was disappointed I came 20 years ago and it was much much better. It seems if Taylor Swift has taken over the country music hall of fame when there are many other hall of famers that could have been shown.
Must see this part of country music history!
    Nancy_D, Apr 2024
So many to choose from; loved seeing the different cars and all the glitzy stage costumes. Displays are professionally done. Enjoyed the self-guided tour recordings.
    Tour.

The Eric Church exhibit was my favorite part of the tour. There are numerous films/videos to watch that provide lots of information about how country music has changed over the years.
    Great museum
    Betty_D, Apr 2024
Enjoyed the history of country music and the many stars of Country Music. I especially enjoyed the Elvis display. This museum is worth the price of admission. It really would take two days to throughly see the museum. Parking is a problem and expensive.
It was a nice tour until fire alarms went on and we had to evacuate twice at the beginning of the tour.
    David_T, Apr 2024
It was not a good experience for us. There were 2 fire alarms in less than an hour and we had to evacuate the building twice. Due to that and time constraints we could not take the tour. Please provide refund. If not, I know I can always call my credit card company. Thank you,
    A must see in Nashville!

This is a great experience for Country Western and non CW fans! The cost is very reasonable considering the great displays, videos, memorabilia. This activity gives so much C&W history and brings the info into the current day. We were there on a Monday and crowds were minimal. Plan to spend 2.5 to 3 hours there...at least!
    Learned so much
    Gerard_C, Apr 2024
I knew very little about country music or its deep roots in the history of our country. However, I AM interested and intend to look more into the. History of country.
    Worth the time.

    Great exhibition!
    ILENE_M, Apr 2024
Loved seeing all the memorabilia of so many stars! Unless you’re the type to rush through it, you’ll need at least 3 or 4 hours to see everything.
    Seeing the Icons

Seeing the videos of artists and shows I grew up with and being able to take a trip down memory lane
    Would not do it again
    Kimberly_G, Apr 2024
Way too crowded, we could not even get near any of the attractions. When we booked our tickets it said 9 to 5 P.M but when we got there they told us we had to book a reservation time, so we just happen to be there on the busiest time one of the day!
    Excellent

History of country music from then too now and how other realms of music all played a part in it. A lot of great representation of all eras and their significance. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Looking at all the awards and costumes of the stars was great. Enjoyed seeing the walls of gold records. Seeing the cars, one belonging to Elvis. It was pretty fancy for its time..
