What To Expect

Make your own way to the meeting point (or request pickup), jump on board your custom-built Jeep, and get ready for a deep dive into Bahamian culture. You’ll head first for the Junkanoo Experience where your guide will fill you in on the history of the famous Bahamian festival and show you costumes and instruments—you’ll even have the chance to dress up in Junkanoo costumes, a great photo opportunity.

After sampling some native Bahamian bush teas and natural beverages at Tasty Teas, your next stop is John Watling's Distillery, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and rum samples. After a stop at Arawak Cay, home to numerous fish fry vendors, it’s on to Queen's Staircase, carved by slaves out of limestone rock; and the historic forts of Fort Montague, Fort Fincastle, Fort Nassau, and Fort Charlotte.

After half a day of exploring Nassau, your tour concludes back at the starting point.

We had an amazing Nassau experience! A great big thanks to our tour guide Leon! He gave us a lot of historical information and kept us entertained. Everything about the entire tour was great! We really enjoyed the Junkanoo museum and experience. The last stop was the area they call the fish fry. The food was delicious. Especially. Junkanoo Tour

Funny and informative tour guide. Spoke with an accent but was able to understand well. We went to the Queens Staircase, rum cake store, rum distillery, Junkanoo museum, ate at a local diner, and did a little shopping. Overall well worth the money and time.

This tour was super fun and we highly recommend it! Our group of 12 was split into two jeeps. They arrived on time, drove safely around the island. Shared information about their culture, and stopped at great places to sample rum, teas, and other island traits. The included lunch was also great. My family is still raving about the lemonade, lol.

Funky Nassau Jeep Tour

Bernard was very personable, knowledgeable and funny so everybody had a good time. The Junkaloo experience was a lot of fun. We got a great performance, tried on some costumes, and participated in a drum line. It was good to see some of the other local landmarks and taste some great food & drink along the way. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was we were picked up a little late and weren't able to spend more time at some of the places on the agenda.

This was a fun tour our guide/ driver Leon made this one of mine and my husband’s favorite tour. The Junkanoo experience was amazing, the costumes are beautiful and it was a pleasure to be in the presence of the man behind it all. And the location where they took us for food has become our favorite restaurant. All in all this tour is worth it
