Traveler Tips

I recommend arriving early and communicating well if you go with a family or small group as coordinators do not make attempts to seat groups together unless requested.
The tour started late and ended early and the tour was not worth the price.
If you are a regular visitor in the city, I’m not sure it’s worth the cost.

Not reliable
Gen_R, Mar 2024
Our tour was canceled a few hours before it was to start. They said it was due to fireworks being set off. It seems they should have been aware of that prior to a few hours notice. Ruined our evening plans and we had no time to book anything else.

Loved hearing about the history of NOLA from our driver. Hearing the sound of donkey's hoofs as "Camilla"strolled down the streets was fun. She was sweet and friendly. I Would recommend the horse drawn carriage to anyone.
Loved it!

What a fun tour! Jack and Camellia were such a great duo for traversing the streets, and night life, of New Orleans! Great ghost stories and history from the French Quarter, lots to see, and a fun ride! Would absolutely do it again! It was a great family activity, and worth every penny.

KJ is a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and yet keeps the tour very entertaining. Highly recommend!
Great way to see the French quarter at night!!!
Lacey_J, Mar 2024
Wonderful idea for carriages around the town!! Our guide was hard to understand due to how loud the city is with car traffic and radios blasting music. We heard about 30% of the information (we were sat in the last row). Get there 30 min early as we departed before the departure time. Sit in the front and order all tickets together as our group was split up!

Tour guide was very distracted, and her stories were very choppy. No consistency hard to follow. Donkey seemed very tired.
It is worth it!

It was great! Loved the stories and the experience! Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. We saw quite a lot of the french quarter and I felt like I got my money’s worth. The mule seemed to be well taken care of and like her job.
Fun and ‘spirited’ tour

A lot of fun and interesting facts! Your guide knowledgeable and interesting. Should have a portable speaker - at times couldn’t be heard over street noise.

Favorite part of our trip

Steph and Ivan the mule, made our experience and was my favorite activity in New Orleans. She made sure all passengers were cared for and is so warm and strong and confident. I left her a twenty dollar tip and would've hugged her if I could. She was beyond amazing and being carriaged around the streets and architecture at night in New Orleans by an expert is an experience you must have.
So fun!
Belle_S, Mar 2024
Lucas (our driver) was fun and informative. The ride was very comfortable and the mule was so gentle. We had a fun time and the was amazing at night.
