What To Expect

Your ghostly adventure begins in the evening in the French Quarter. Meet your local guide and set off on a journey through the dark recesses of New Orleans’ haunted history. Steel yourself for legendary tales of wickedness, witchcraft, voodoo, ghosts, and vampires!

Your tour winds through the French Quarter, passing creepy sites such as Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar and the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum, known for its questionable medical practices in the 19th century such as bloodletting and leeching. Hear blood‐curdling tales of LaLaurie Mansion and its wicked mistress Madame LaLaurie.

Our guide was awesome , now for the tour it self not what we were expecting , seemed they had to split our group into 2 seemed over 35 people at first , lot of walking running into other tours our guide was very knoledgeable of the city and its story's , people kept leaving our group what seemed like 15-20 people in our group by the end seemed like 9 , our 16 yr old really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed the tour! I appreciated how the guide relayed history with a culturally sensitive and authentic approach. As an African American, while wanting to learn about the city, some of these historic events are incredibly painful to hear, but the tour guide masterfully provided an excellent overview of history and balanced it with light hearted information about the fabric of the city. I would sign up to do it 3 times again and plan to when I revisit NOLA. Excellent tour, Julie was the best :-)

I had an amazing time. My background is architecture so I was really pleased that William included architectural facts into the tour. He was also a wealth of knowledge on voodoo. He spoke of the compassionate side of voodoo and that while some voodoo is bad, there is a good side. Take William's tour and learn a thing or two! Ask questions, he has answers!

From start to finish the tour consisted of great stories, an interesting walk through historic sites and great conversation.
