What To Expect

Start your 2-day, 2-country experience at Port Authority in New York City.

Travel north through Upstate New York to Watkins Glen and the scenic Finger Lakes region en route to Niagara Falls, New York. Spend the night at a hotel near the falls and have chance to see the American Falls illuminated at night. The next morning, cross the border to Canada to see the Falls from the other side, and enjoy a thrilling cruise on the Maid of the Mist boat (in season).

From Niagara Falls, travel to the heart of the Pocono Mountains region to visit one of the largest outlet malls in the US with 100 name-brand stores. Shop until you drop before returning to New York City.

  • Maid of the Mist is available from mid-May until mid-October. Please have in mind that the start of the summer season is subject to weather conditions.
  • Hotel Accommodations: Ramada by Wyndham Hotel or for travelers that must remain in the USA side, Comfort Inn “The Pointe” or similar. Please note specific hotels mentioned not guaranteed
  • Wheelchair accessible transportation must be requested in advance
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • All passengers are required to have proper identification when entering or leaving the United States. For entry to Canada, it is the passenger’s responsibility to make sure in advance that visa requirements are met
  • Passengers without the proper travel documents to cross and enter Canada can still join this tour. In such event, the passenger will remain at the hotel on the United States side of the Falls and will not join any part of the tour that will take place in the Canadian territory. You will be able to join the boat ride on the Maid of the Mist as this departs from the American side of the Falls. You will get to see the American Falls and the Canadian Falls from the boat. During the winter months, when the Maid of the Mist is not operating, you will be able to walk to the Falls on your own. There are no substitute attractions on the America side of the Falls. Outlet shopping is located on the American side and does not require a Canadian visa or passport
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Trip was good! All Was very well planned with regular stops towards Niagara Falls. We caught a very nice clear full rainbow falls! Not really rush, with sufficient stop and rest. 2D1N was just nice!!

Terrible Experience

Was incredibly disappointed with this tour. We travelled unbeknown to all on the tour in a TRAVEL BAN! Two hours in emergency warnings were broadcast all over the news and our tour guides had no idea. We didn’t complete the second day of the tour due to being snowed in but spent almost 5 hours in a hotel lobby. We then proceeded to drive 6 hours back to NYC during snow storms with cars stuck in snow on the side of the road. At no time were we given any reassurance of safety when at times the lack of visability was severe. We were not offered any form of refund rather the tour guide had the cheek to ask for tips and promoted all their other tours. We did tip the driver as we were incredibly grateful to get back safely. The Management of this tour lacked clear direction in an emergency situation we should never have been in. The tour should have been cancelled. The Border Officer in Canada asked the question ‘Do you not check the weather before you leave?’. Something I would have expected is standard safety protocol. At no time did we receive an apology from the Tour Guides. We paid for 5 people which was a waste of money and we lost 2 days of our holiday. I can’t comment on what the tour would be like in safer conditions. It was impossible to enjoy the falls as it was just too uncomfortably cold. If you are going to do this tour be sure to check the weather forecast before you go.

Hello Janine, Thank you for leaving the review. The tour departed on time on the first day because there was no travel ban or road blocks. It is correct that there was a weather warning on the second day and the Government clossed the main highways for salting. Because of that we organized to get the people on the tour over from Canada to usa so no one would get stranded on the canadian side. After we organized with the government and the transportation department the alternate route to get home safely and before the snow storm started. We hope you will book with us again the future. Very well organized trip from the beginning to the end. Our tour guide was very cooperative and gave us a lot of insight about the places we visited and also shared general historical details. Bus driver did a good job. Niagara Falls view and maid of the mist boat ride was the best experiences. It was worth traveling all the way from NYC. Hotel was not bad, we stayed at comfort inn. It was very close to the falls area. Rooms are spacious as compared to hotel rooms in NYC. Breakfast was also good. Finally on the way back the shopping outlet stop was worth it. Overall an incredible trip of life time.

Seeing the Niagara Falls is breath taking! Both in the daylight and in the evening with all the colorful lights and the fireworks ! The ride with the bus is quite long, but with a stop every 2,5 hours to use the restroom, buy some food and stretch your legs is not too bad, and it's really worth it!

We really enjoyed 2 day trip to Niagara. The bus was very comfortable traveling with you 2.5 years child, and long journey was evenly planned with other tourist destinations or necessary lunch/bio breaks. The guide associated with tour was very help in sharing the historic significance of multiple destinations we passed by, and that of Niagara falls! Stay, and sighseeing at Niagara was planned well, and boat ride into the falls was awesome!
