What To Expect

Start this exciting aerial tour of New York City by hopping in the helicopter and ascending into the sky above the Big Apple.

Fly down the Hudson River passing One World Trade Center, the historic Woolworth Building, and the many towers of the Financial District. Then hover over the Statue of Liberty, getting an incredible view from above before flying near the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge that links Staten Island and Brooklyn.

Head back up the Hudson, passing along the way the New York Times building, the Empire State Building, Times Square, the Intrepid aircraft carrier, and Central Park. Fly further uptown to see the gigantic St. John the Divine Cathedral, Columbia University, the famed Dakota apartment building, and the George Washington Bridge before landing safely back down at the heliport to conclude your tour.

  • Passengers exceeding 275 lbs./124 kg. will be required to purchase an additional seat at 100% of the applicable retail price. Due to weight restrictions seat assignments cannot be guaranteed.
  • A valid photo identification, such as a passport or driver's license, is required and match reservation.
  • Must walk through a metal detector.
  • All bags are subject to inspection. Complimentary lockers are available to hold belongings while flying
  • Helicopter window seats aren't guaranteed due to weight and balance factors.
  • No parking on site
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What an awesome experience. First time up in a helicopter and I have to say I was stunned by the magnificent views of Manhattan and new York. A must see. Thanks to our pilot who pointed out many other unknown land marks. Defo recommend this activity. Amazing.

The Helecopter ride was amazing! I would recommend this to see all of NYC, the staff on the ground were really friendly and explained what to do etc Once in the air the pilot gave a commentary on what land marks you were seeing amd passing over. Really enjoyed with all the family.

The trip was great and so is the company that flies around New York. I felt safe and they were very friendly. What wasn't good was the fact that after paying almost $500 for 2 people through Viator we had to pay another $80 fee when we got there. Nothing from your company mentioned that. Since I didn't want to lose my $500, I paid the additional amount. But I'd like to sue you to get my money back for your bait and switch tactics. You'll hear from me soon. Won't use Viator again

It was Incredible exiting and one of the best experience we could have during our stay. I highly recommend to do this especially when you just have some days, you can save time in going up to each skyscraper. The team at the airport is amazing , the customer support from Viator was also very nice and helpful. Very nice experience.

Months ahead booked this trip. Trip cancelled by company. Evening before we were on. Reason landing rights????? Then in that morning again suddenly we were good to go, but only 4 out of 7….. Would not recommend this company. Helicopter flight was highlight of our visit and they spoiled it. Mixed messages about refunding and a lot of annoying communication!!!!! NO GO!!!

Worst helicopter tour I’ve been on. I’ve been to around 15 helicopter tours and this is by far the worst. The helicopter tour is basically you don’t get to see any of the big Apple from the right unless you sit on the right because there is people recording blocking your view. So when you wrap back around you are twice as far away and don’t get the tour the other people got. Me and my boyfriend got there first before the other group and the other group who had 3 people got the front 2 spots and the 1 right spot. Therefore us, the group of 2 got the 2 left spots that couldn’t see anything the pilot was pointing out to us. Also charged us for our photos outside of the helicopter, this was the first tour that even took their own photos, we’ve always been able to take them with our personal phone. For the amount of money they are bringing in they need to do a better job on being able to let everyone see. Why out the group of 2 in the back and split the group of 3, when the group of 2 (us) got there first could’ve sat in the front so we could see and the other group could’ve stayed together.

Expect hidden charges

The helicopter experience itself was very good. However, on arriving at the heliport we had to pay an extra $80 before we could fly. There was no mention of this cost at all when booking. One of the reasons we chose this tour was based on the price and it ended up more expensive than others after the hidden charges.

The staff in the facility were absolutely fantastic. They were so welcoming and chatty, especially Hugh who introduced himself to everyone he was looking after and was an amazing host! He took time to ensure my sister was ok as he knew she was nervous, as did some of the others staff and for that i’m very grateful. Our pilot Arnie was fab, really informative and happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks everyone!
