What To Expect

Enjoy a birds-eye view New York City with this short but memorable helicopter ride. Multiple departure times are available daily, book in advance to guarantee your preferred time slot.

Make your way to the meeting point at least an hour ahead of time to meet your complimentary shuttle. After getting weighed, take your assigned seat on the helicopter, and don the provided headsets and life vests for your sightseeing flight.

Over the course of 10 to 15 minutes in the air, you’ll soar over Ellis Island and Governor’s Island, see the Statue of Liberty, cruise over the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge, and fly over the South Street Seaport and Wall Street Financial Center.

Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled flight time with Identification. It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$45.00 heliport fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$45.00 heliport fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

They advertise $200 per person and we purchased the tickets on line. Made us wait for 11/2 hr. Charged us $25 per person, for a total of $50, some TAX. They should advertise that before. Don’t let the customer buy the tickets and ask for ransom later. A terrible business practice.

I went to NY last week from CA with my wife as it was our anniversary. I had a very short time to visit NY so i booked this Helicopter tour so that i can see all places in very short time. We were supposed to be there at 2 pm. We took uber of 200$ from our hotel and once we reached there we tried to contact them, they said some car is coming to receive us from the spot. We waited 30 minutes but nobody came. Then we tried to contact them. A girl from the other side in call says that our tour is canceled because of the wind. 30 minutes ago she was the one who told a car is coming to receive us and Now she was telling it is canceled. They didn’t even tried to contact us or inform us. They ruined our whole day and we couldn’t go anywhere as we hadn’t buy any tickets for other visiting places. I think these people are Scamer.

really a scam. They send you to a fictitious rendezvous point ... from which you arrive late and then pay a fine of $100 per person. When you try to explain the problem, they just laugh and say you shouldn't use google map. Frankly shameful!

Why is it a SCAM, when YOU can't follow DIRECTIONS. The majority of our customers are tourists and they came on TIME to the exact address that is posted on the booking. You arrived 11 min before your flight and were told that your flight was already gone. It is customer RESPONSIBILITY to READ and UNDERSTAND what they are reading and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for YOUR MISTAKE.

This is the worst company.. they have me waiting in a parking lot for 20mins went they drop me off they say I was late 20mins . They charge me $200 for reaching late . Which the helicopter ride was 4pm yeah.. plus i they have the oldies helicopter no good waste of money .

You were late and NEVER called to say you arrived at the location, you went into another helicopter company and you were charged a late fee. As for our equipment that is YOUR opinion, frankly our helicopters are beautiful. We only roll out our GULF STREAM on special occasions.

The preparing process for this event is slow but necessary. I understand these things are quick but hey it was fun. Pilot was very informative on the buildings and scenery. Phone recording or photos aren’t allowed INSIDE the hangar, only outside and within the aircraft. I give it 5 of 5 stars considering it’s the first and only time on a helicopter.

Ride experience is great, they could have managed expected time to start better. Overall wait time was over 90 mins. This may not be a common experience as they said one of the choppers went into maintenance unexpectedly.

Unexpected issue

It was a great experience we got to go on earlier than expected which was nice but I wasn’t aware me and my boyfriend had to get on the helicopter with a group a strangers that wasn’t clear I thought it would just be a couples ride but we got split up. I was in the front and he was back there with them. But it was nice other than that a smooth ride

The helicopter ride was ok. Rather difficult to get in touch with the helicopter company. The company pick you up outside helipad by a car. If You reach this place by taxi, be aware when going back to city. Its a pirate taxi there, who charges double…. Frustrating.
