      Unhappy with some of the options available and there is no way to change once booked and the customer service is just useless, all they say is contact the attraction you are visiting and ask for cancellation
      Delayed Christmas trip to NYC

      I took my daughter-in-law and grandchild to NYC as a delayed Christmas present over a long weekend. The choices on the CityPass were the ones we would have chosen, so the pass saved us money. The 9/11 Memorial/Museum was completely booked the day we had hoped to go, so we just saw the fountains which are free. So, book this one early. Also, I read that the museum is not recommended for children under 12. I was concerned that if I booked the sites early the pass would kick in the day I made the reservation. That was wrong. The pass is set to start the day you tell them, meaning you CAN make the reservations well in advance. As an older adult not too good with technology, I was surprised how easy it was to make the reservations online. We had a great time and built memories that I hope will last a lifetime. I would definitely use CityPass again.

      Purchased the city pass before reading reviews from other customers, purchase went smooth, read all the finer details about how long you have to use the pass and where you can go. All sounded great, used the pass fir the 9/11 memorial, so had another 9 days to use for the rest of the attractions. The following day we went to book other attraction for me to find the pass and expired. Spoke to someone on WhatsApp from viator who suggested calling city pass themselves, being 5 hrs behind & wanting answers they weren't open to assist. Not one to give up so downloaded city pass app, and entered my ticket numbers manually ( they will be in your confirmation email) It was only then that we could use the passes. Hope this helps future buyers from thinking the pass has expired.

      We are very sorry about this. Your ticket email should work for 9 days or until you have visited all attractions, whichever occurs first. We definitely recommend using the app as you must make reservations for many of the attractions, and we're glad that worked for you, but your ticket email should not have scanned as expired. We apologize for the inconvenience and trouble-shooting you had to do. To clarify, CityPASS Customer Care is available seven days a week from 9am-7p eastern time.       Definitely worth it. We used our City Pass for Empire State, Top of the Rock, 9/11 memorial and Statue of Liberty. All of the venues were brilliant. However, given our time over again we probably wouldn’t do Top of the Rock as, compared to the Empire State observation deck, the views paled into insignificance. Empire State staff were more approachable, well informed, better turned out. Maybe try one of the other attractions rather than Top of the Rock? However, the City Pass is well worth the money.

      Empire State Building is a must, So much history! If you don't see anything else, see this! Of course if you have the time, Rockefeller Center is another must see to me.

      Not been able to make timeslot reservations through CityPASS so not possible to visit attractions unlesd you want to stand in line for hours

We recommend making reservations in advance to ensure your preferred time and avoid lines.

      Great value for money and ticks all the top tourist activities to do and visit in New York! Only had an issue with the activation of the pass so had to call customer care to fix it (but what sorted immediately and very helpful!)

      We loved our time in New York! The CityPASS app made it easy to book our chosen experiences and access our tickets. It also kept our experiences organized by day and time, as well as providing directions and tips. Everything worked perfectly and we had a great time! I would definitely recommend the Empire State Building, Circle Line Cruise, Statue of Liberty, and the 9/11 Museum and Memorial.

      Seriously concerned that this is a scam,it's stopped working for me after just one use (Empire state building) and now I can't use it today (day 2 for us) or get a response from anybody about it. This has potentially ruined our holiday,please be aware when you book. It looks like it's happened to others according to the reviews on here too,I wish I'd looked at the one star reviews before booking! Absolutely devastated,it's really made me lose trust in Viator.
