For this nighttime helicopter tour of New York City, you can choose the departure time that best suits your schedule. Your helicopter flight takes off from Linden Municipal Airport in Linden New Jersey.
Once you’re at the airport, board your helicopter. Your pilot takes off, and flies you right over Newark International Airport toward Manhattan. From the Statue of Liberty to Time Square, experience views of New York City lit up at night. Other areas you pass include the Financial District, Brooklyn, Queens, Chelsea, the West Village, SOHO, and TRIBECA.
Famous sights you can catch a glimpse of while you ride include the Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, the Hudson River, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the United Nations Headquarters.
After all the excitement, your helicopter lands down back at Linden Municipal Airport.

- Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
- Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 275 lbs may be unable to fly. If passengers require a seat belt extender they will not be able to attend.
- Please note: is a 10 minute drive to Linden Airport from the station, passengers can order either Uber, Lyft or use the local taxi service

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

What an amazing experience. As a resident of NJ for 30 years, I got to see a whole new beautiful perspective of the city that I’ve never seen before. The crew was very professional and emphasized safety above all else. The pilot was very personable, informative and incredibly smooth. We were lucky to have clear skies and minimal wind on the evening that we went. Overall 10/10 would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience and view of the city!

What a great tour! Amazing/breathtaking views, the pilot seemed like he enjoyed his job and had wonderful piloting skills. It was a smooth ride from take off to landing. The New Jersey location was very accessible, easy to get to and had a spacious parking.

Unfortunately for us this was a disappointing experience. The weather was forecast bad for that day and we were not given an option to reschedule. We cannot fault the check-in abd safely proces from the staff. However the pilot's narrative was not engaging throughout the flight.
Perhaps the most disappointing was the shuttle bus service which did not pick up on time after the flight and we were left to figure it out and call an uber.There seems to be no communication between the checkin desk and the bus drivers!
For anyone thinking of this activity, be weather aware and perhaps book an uber!

We may cancel our flights in dense fog, low clouds, poor visibility, lightning, extremely gusty winds and heavy rain or snow. The temperature outside has no effect on flight conditions as the helicopters are equipped with both heat and air conditioning. In this case, the weather did not impact the flight or visibility.
HeliNY offers a complimentary shuttle between Linden Station and Linden Airport on a request basis. The shuttle is a free service that goes back and forth between the heliport and the station and exact timings for the shuttle cannot be guaranteed. We encourage passengers who do not want to wait for the shuttle to find their own means of transportation.

The tour group was very professional and a well run operation. The pilot did a great job pointing out the sites as we flew over NYC at night. Also the free shuttle to/from train station was much appreciated. Jessica the shuttle driver was so very helpful in assisting us with getting back to the city.
