What To Expect

Make your way to the centrally located meeting point in New York City, board your air-conditioned vehicle, and head across the state line to New Jersey. Upon arrival at Liberty State Park there’s plenty of time to soak up the postcard-perfect views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, the One World Trade Center, and the Jersey City Financial District, all sparkling in the nighttime sky.

After a snack break (own expense) at Carlo's Bakery, known for its delicious pastries, it’s on to the Hoboken Waterfront Walkway for more stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Your final stop is Hamilton Park to soak up final views of the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, the George Washington Bridge, and more before returning to NYC with a camera full of photos.

The skyline views and other places/ things I'd never seen were great! However we could only understand about half the speaker's narrative. We asked her twice to turn up the volume which she did for a moment but quickly turned it back down. Very disappointed.

Our guide Sebastian led the tour with obvious.pride for New Jersey landmarks along the NJ shore of the Hudson. So we learned about baseball and Frank Sinatra on our way to see the big city skyline. The empty sky memorial was moving. Brought the fear and loss of 911 rushing back.
