What To Expect

Skip the stress of finding a taxi or sharing a shuttle when you arrive at one of New York City’s busy airports, and enjoy the convenience of a private transfer. When you arrive, call the number on your voucher and a professional driver picks you up at the airport of your choice—JFK International Airport (JFK), Newark International Airport (EWR), or La Guardia Airport (LGA). You are then delivered directly to the door of your Manhattan hotel or private residence.

Travel in a comfortable sedan for up to three passengers, or a minivan or SUV for up to five passengers, then relax and enjoy the sights as your driver handles the traffic. Transfer service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Please provide accommodation and flight details when making your booking. Receive confirmation within 24 hours and a voucher to show the driver. It’s that simple!

Price is per person, based on three passengers per sedan or five per minivan or SUV.

  • Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs, or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable
  • Child seats are required for children 8 and under by law and are not provided by the local supplier
  • Price is per person, based on three passengers per sedan or five per minivan or SUV
  • Tolls from JFK and LGA are $10.17
  • Tolls from EWR are $21.98
  • Upon arrival and after retrieving all your luggage, call us and tell the operator you are holding a pre-paid voucher. Follow the operator's instructions. You will be picked up within minutes of your call. Give the voucher to the driver.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Was abit upset that when we arrived at airport there was nobody waiting for us or direction of exactly where pick up was. I had to contact the provider then they rang Me. I was told what type of car to look out for but wasn't given much details and there was alot of cars pulling up so we had to be very careful on the look out. I was told when got into car about tolls which I understand so I was willing to pay it. But when came to pay I paid with cash and gave extra the driver wasn't very helpful and he didn't even offer to give Me my change which I would of given a tip when he had given me my change he just expected that he was getting to keep it all. I aint a mean person but his attitude towards it and didnt even help us out of car.

Terrible service! Went to wrong airport and not only did I have to wait longer for their mistake, they charged me more to correct it. The luxury sedan was an old Rav 4. Nothing luxury about it. Skip this service and take a taxi. It will be faster, cheaper, and cleaner!

Driver was a no show!

Booked a pickup for NYC trip.. we waited at the location indicated on the booking for circa 15min in vain, as no driver showed. We tried to contact the vendor using the link on the booking with no success.. Ended up grabbing an UBER black which showed in less than 5min. Driver service called me later that night asking if I was ready to be collected! When I explained what has happened, I was told I was supposed to call them on arrival… nowhere in my booking did it state that. I am yet to contact VIATOR for a refund, but don’t like my chances.. Would not use this service again or recommend … UBER is easier and more reliable!!!

Pick up was smooth with just a phone call to arrange pick up point. The driver was not happy with his tip and made his feelings know by asking (demanding) more tip than the $30 offered. This spoiled our arrival in New York.

Not the experience I expected

I called at 13:40 and was told the driver would be with me within 5 minutes, I received a text saying my car (a black Chevy suburban) was on the way, I thought great that’s exactly what I was expecting. 5 minutes later I received another text saying my car, now a grey sienna would be picking me up. We waited 20 minutes in total for our pick up and the car we got picked up was nothing short of disappointment, it was dirty, wasn’t an suv, and to make the situation worse, the driver never even said hello. During our full trip the driver never said a word to us, the only time he spoke was to answer his mobile phone. This is the first time I have used Viator, I have 3 other trip transfers booked with you and I am seriously considering cancelling after today.

Despite some of the negative reviews I read, I signed up with Carmel thru Viator.Glad I did! The treatment I received was over the top. Due to airline delay I had to change th time and airport. I had a number of calls I had to make. Each time I got a different agent but the records they keep were up to date and every agent was up to date on my case. Amazingly, all this was accomplished in A 12 hour period. Bai, our driver was a real professional, competent, courteous,cordial. He made the ride a pleasure — as much as can be in NYC.

we had pre-booked a taxi from EWR to Manhattan, no one met us at the airport as promised. contacted Viator but they hung up. but think they said someone is on the way. waited an hour until we gave up, had to take another taxi for $150. no apology and no refund. We do not recommend this company!

When dalled to advise had landed phone tech was very rude n hung up had to call again busing airport phone and got sorted for pick up however the drivers was exceptionally rude never spoke onmy ti advise required a top n a till fee that I was nit aware of, maybe you should advise of this in your booking derails. Not great when holidaying on a budget unexpected costs
