Hi I'm sorry you had trouble at the meeting point and I sincerely appreciate your feedback.
Your tour was scheduled for a 9:00 am departure with an 8:45 am meeting time.
When the guides started at 9am they reported to our office that your party had not checked in.
At 10:55am you messaged us to say you can't find the guide.
This was 1 hour and 55 minutes after the tour began.
We understand that many of our guests are not local and may need help finding the meeting point.
So on your voucher we provide detailed information including what to do if you need help.
The following information is listed on every voucher:
- We ask you to call us as early as possible if you are having trouble finding the guide.
- We let you know that there is no office at the meeting location.
- We tell you the tour departs promptly as scheduled (because we need to catch the ferry)
- We inform you that once the tour departs you may not be able to join the group.
- We suggest arriving at least 15 to 30 minutes ahead of start time.
I am sorry you could not participate in the tour but this was not our fault. We operated the tour on time and as scheduled, we were prepared for your arrival and ready to help you but you did not let us know until well after the tour had started.
