What To Expect

Make your way to Honolulu's Keahole Street to meet your group and friendly, experienced tour guide.

Climb aboard a 50-foot (12-meter) catamaran and cruise up the coast of Oahu past great views of Koko Crater, Maunalua Bay, Diamond Head and the Koolau mountain range.

When you reach the dive location, listen to a safety briefing and instructions on how to operate your underwater scooter. This self-propelled, electric scooter is an environmentally-friendly way to explore Oahu's extensive underwater world. Submerge on your scooter and follow your guide through schools of tropical fish, past living coral reefs and green sea turtles.

After your turn on the scooter, don fins, a mask and snorkel to explore the water more fully or just relax on the boat's deck. Indulge in some snacks and drinks on board and listen to your guide talk about the history of the area.

At the conclusion of your 2-hour tour, the catamaran will return to your departure point.

Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Maximum height is 6'8". Waiver is required prior to adventure and participant must have no previous medical conditions; minors must have waiver signed by parent or legal guardian.
CHECK-IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE. MUST BRING PHOTO ID FOR CHECK-IN. The boat leaves PROMPTLY at departure time.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 3 full days before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This was an amazing experience. If you get the chance I total recommend you do it. The captains were great. The guides were so chill and patient. They did an awesome job of pointing out some really cool sea life. We got to swim with turtles and too many fish to count!!! Micah was my guide and he was excellent. We even got to snorkel after while the last team was on the scooters. And that was equally as amazing. Overall 10/10 definitely recommend. A few tips though If you have ear issues or problems with your ears l. The pressure from going deeper into the water may bother you. It feels like when you’re on a plane and you need to poo your ears. If you can I’d chew gum to help keep your ears open. Lastly if you don’t like the feeling of being in closed spaces it may unsettle you. While the scooters are pretty spacious inside it is a smaller space.

Loads of water fun!

This was my first time doing a submarine scooter adventure and it was lots of fun. I saw a sea turtle up close, lots of fish with the help of some food provided, even had an up close view of a small octopus placed on my helmet. I did get motion sickness, so would recommend taking precautions for those with motion sickness issues. The water was too choppy to do snorkeling while waiting my turn for the submarine scooter.

Such an amazing and weird experience ! The guides were so knowledgeable and made sure we saw soo many fish , a turtle and a sting ray while on the scuba scooters And then when it wasn’t our turn on the scooters, we got to snorkel and swim around which was amazing ! I would definitely recommend this to EVERYONE !

This was an amazingly fun, easy and safe experience! Even when snorkeling was a challenge due to high winds, this was still doable and safe. This was a great option for anyone with anxiety over water activities as well. The divers make it easy and stay with you the entire time. Loved it and the crew was so customer-oriented and fun! I plan to totally do this again!

Was a very cool experience. My eyes were burning terribly from the salt water. I wish he had waited for my eyes to adjust before taking pics. they were shut in most of them and i was struggling with popping my ear i had a extremely painful sharp pain in it as they were lowering me to the see floor. It took me a minute to get it to pop.

This experience was incredible. You are offered snorkeling as well as the submarine scooter experience which made me feel a little more comfortable being in the water. The crew handling the excursion made me feel safe as they stressed the safety and protocols for this activity. They offer pictures and videos which have really good quality view of what’s underwater. Not sure if it depends on the group size but I would have liked to stay underwater a little longer. Would definitely do it again if I could

I am scared of swimming in deep water so I never thought I would be able to do it, but I had the best time ever. Everyone should do this! I had the best time swimming with the fish and turtles about 25-35 foot below. Everyone on our boat had an awesome time! So safe and so fun and a great crew helping showing a fantastic day!!
