Overview

Snorkel with green sea turtles in Oahu's Turtle Canyon on this 2- to 3-hour tour departing from Waikiki. Board a power catamaran and sail along the shore of Oahu towards the island's best place to spot the resident turtles. Turtle sightings are guaranteed; if a turtle is not sighted, you will be given a free second cruise. What To Expect

Once aboard the 'Honu Lani', find a spot on the deck and make yourself comfortable for the 15-minute ride to Turtle Canyon. Listen to music on the surround-sound speaker system and enjoy the scenery as Diamond Head comes in to view. Cash in your two included drink tickets for a selection of cocktails, white wine, sparkling wine or beer. Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks are also available. 

Enjoy the sun and the island breeze while you scan the horizon for marine life like spinner dolphins and migrating whales, which pass through the area between December and April. 

The captain will moor the boat at Turtle Canyon, where you will get a safety briefing. Slip in to the water by climbing down a safe stairway off the boat and snorkel among the turtles with your snorkel guide. 

Back on board after your snorkeling adventure, feel free to take a freshwater shower or change in to dry clothing. Enter the the covered cabin for a individualized deli lunch (midday tour only), or hang out on the deck to relax and snap photos of Waikiki and the Ko'olau Mountains as you sail back to shore.

Turtle snorkel tour

The boys - captain flynn, and crew Nick and Joey were fantastic- made the trip interesting with great enthusiasm and energy. Saw two turtles up close! Would recommend taking an underwater camera or bag for iPhone underwater. There were plenty of other tours out at site but this is to be expected for the reasonable price you pay. Private charters cost at least triple - so be prepared and patient.

What a fun experience! The crew were friendly and skilled. The catamaran was spacious and welcoming. Definitely saw turtles (Honu). The only downside was the rough seas and strong current. Still the crew was attentive and professional, all while pointing out more turtles!

Great team, great experience, good price! We got to see a couple turtles, the water was really choppy from the wind but still a really cool time. The boat ride was the best, we got to enjoy being on the water on a beautiful catamaran with a just a few people so it wasn't crowded. Lunch wasn't great but the drinks were!

The snorkel cruise was great, the crew and the boat were fantastic. We paid for transportation there and back and on the way there, the driver didn’t announce the stop and some people stayed on the shuttle for the airport. We were in the back of the van and were trying to get off when the driver shut the door. When we arrived back to the disco for our return transportation (that we paid for) there was no shuttle. We called the company and they told us we would be picked up in the same spot we were dropped. 20 minutes later, we called a Lyft. Called the company to tell them no return shuttle and they said a manager would call me back/credit transportation. Neither happened.

We had a duel treat of seeing turtles and whales! We were thankful to the crew of Captain Greg, Kyra and Joey for even going out since there were only 4 of us on the boat. The snorkeling was awesome and there were a lot of turtles and other sea life to be seen. Then on our way back we saw a mom and her baby whale which was very active with 10-15 breaches! Awesome experience!

So awesome. The boat ride alone was so fun, with such beautiful scenery. We got to see some humpback whales, quite close up which was a pleasant surprise. Our captain was Flynn, and our crew was Kiara and Clay. They were so friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable, and skilled. Kiara made us feel safe and confident in the water, and gladly helped weaker swimmers back to the boat. The water was crystal clear and great for seeing the turtles and other marine life. Highly recommend this tour.

This trip is excellent!! Very attentive crew; great lunch & drinks! We saw turtles right away and loved the snorkel spot! Kids could float on a surfboard and still see everything, the boat is very nice with plenty of room!

The trip was great for a family, they had floatation vests that help us stay afloat in the big waves and the guides pointed out the turtles and fish. The boat was stable in the big waves and captain Nick had some great stories. I wish the spot was less busy though as it was a bit crowded
