Explore the manatee capital of the world – Crystal river by boat, followed by an amazing airboat adventure! Discover Florida’s lush scenery and unique wildlife on this immersive, full-day tour. First, head to the Crystal River area of the Gulf Coast—one of the only places in the U.S. where it’s legal to swim and snorkel with manatees. If you select the full tour (operating Monday, Wednesday and Friday) then after your Manatee swim, you will encounter other local wildlife, including alligators, flamingos and more at Homosassa Springs State Park. Finally, cap off your day with an airboat tour of the Withlacoochee River.

Make your way to the designated meeting point closest to your accommodations. After meeting your group and getting an overview of your day, head out to the Crystal River area on the Gulf coast.
Gear up for your manatee snorkeling adventure with your provided snorkel equipment and your own wetsuit (rent before the boat’s departure). Learn all about the unique West Indian manatee then jump in the water to see them up close.
If you opt for the tour that departs on Monday, Wednesday or Friday - head to Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, home to wildlife including the endangered Florida panther, black bears, red wolves, bobcats. alligators, and flamingos. See Nature’s Fish Bowl, an underwater observatory, and learn about the park’s own manatee rehabilitation program. Lunch is included here.
Finally, conclude your day with an exciting airboat ride on the Withlacoochee River where you can see more wildlife in its natural habitat (Included in the full tour only).
Your tour concludes back at the meeting point.

The bus ride was nice. Ricky put on a movie and we ate our box breakfast. We started with the manatee adventure. The whole process was fairly simple for a novice. Our Captain Casey was helpful and knowledgeable. Tonya our guide was great. On to the park. Box lunch on the bus. The food was good. I enjoyed walking through the park. Then to the air boat ride. This was a blast. Enjoyed the whole day. Thank you all.

Amazing one person in my group had a manatee follow her and it was truly unbelievable! The tour guides on the bus and at each location were very genuine people! I went by myself and had an incredible time! I look forward to booking them again and maybe next time bringing a friend!

This trip certainly didn't disappoint. Weather warnings meant it was rescheduled to the following day, however this was seamless and meant we had gorgeous weather. Bus broke down but within 20mins efficiently sorted and on our way.
As always the timings were spot on, Paul was knowledgeable and the ultimate professional when keeping a large group in tow. He split us into smaller groups of 12 and we were all sent out snorkeling.
Captain michaela and swim guide jacob were great. We had full face masks of our own which made things so much easier. Wetsuits and floats were provided and the swim guide was with us the whole time.
The manatees were everywhere! In the brackish water they were harder to see, but came up to investigate us. Swimming into the three springs section it was crystal clear and unlike anything we had experienced before.
Back at the boat it was hot chocolate all round before getting on the coach for lunch. Pack up was high quality and substantial.
Off to the wildlife park, loads to see but maybe not quite long enough to appreciate it.
Off to the airboat tour with captain Aaron. We saw gators, turtles and so many birds. Utterly soaked (we sat at the front) but truly fantastic experience.
Absolutely worth the money. Its a long day but so so worth the effort. I would have loved longer at the park, but not sure where they would get the time from - all in all real florida adventures have qbsolutely nailed this trip.
We booked through viator and having the option to not pay until 24hrs before really helped, in addition to being my go to travel trip booking agent.

Seeing the manatees was awesome! Although i saw one, it was floating and came up for air, it was a sight to see! Staff made sure to hone in on trying not to splash much bc of how easily scared they become. They are gentle giants! And ending it with the air boat ride was awesome! Saw a bunch of alligators big and small. Would def recommend! Worth the money!

Awesome experience swimming with cute manatees! Guided tours are the best way to do it because there are many rules and regulations to protect manatees.

This tour would’ve been great if there weren’t so many other tour boats there at the same time. So I asked what would be the best time to not encounter this situation. It was very hard not to run into other people, snorkeling around you. The tour guide and captain of the boat were great, but beware bring your own snorkel equipment if you have it because I think I got the mustache snorkel mask because I kept getting water up my nose and had to hold it the whole time I was snorkeling. The Manatee‘s were beautiful. The boat ride was also, beautiful. The state park was an interesting break and the animals especially the birds were fantastic. Our driver, tour guide. Paul was wonderful and funny.

Seeing the manatee's is an amazing experience and people want to be out on the water to experience them as well. They are wild animals in open water ways where people are allowed to be. Sometimes, it's crowded and sometimes you are the only boat. It's much like every theme park and attraction in the state, there are days it's more crowded. The Captains do a great job of spacing themselves out and always being respectful of the manatee. We appreciate you and look forward to another Tour with you in the future!

Our guides were all amazing. Dave our driver gave us lots of information. Steve and Amanda were very fun and got us to the most manatees. I would recommend them for sure.

Absolutely incredible bucket list moment!! Fun trip from start to finish. We saw and swam amongst around a dozen manatees. Saw many more from the boat and at Homosassa park. The airboat ride was a fun way to end the day and even though the weather was rainy, we still saw 4 gators and many types of birds. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone!
