There were seven of us on the trip, aged between 10 and 70. Everyone was delighted with our guide Christoffer and his stories that touched on the history and present of the city. What's best is that everyone understood him and was interested the whole time. For every recommendation.

Excellent way to get to know Oslo
Rita_H, Apr 2024
The city tour should not be missed by anyone. So informative, a bit of history, a bit funny. The older man we had as a tour guide was just amazing. Without his commentary you would just be walking aimlessly through Oslo. I am so happy we did this tour, we got to know so much about historic figures and also the walk through Vigeland park was amazing. Thank you very much.
Amazing

I loved this. When we went, it was rainy and not great weather but the tour continued. Our driver and guide were both great! They were knowledgable and it was a great drive! I enjoyed getting to see different parts of Oslo and the Ski jump and sculpture park were not things I would have toured or been able to learn about without this tour. It was also a smooth and easy transition to the Fjord cruise. The boat was very nice and clean. The cruise was nice and had lots of seating and we got to see different views from the water. I wish there was more information on the places we past while on the water but they had screens on board that talked about the areas we were passing or near and a map of where we were going. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour and the information it presented. I liked being able to bundle the bus tour with either museums or with the Fjord cruise!
The "drive-by" tour...
Keith_M, Mar 2024
The "drive-by" tour through the city was actually VERY informative and educational, and for people such as my wife and me who had limited time in Oslo, the bus portion of the tour was both educational and interesting. However, for some people, maybe the "machine gun" approach to providing information about every building, street, historical event, and monument might be too much. (I definitely enjoyed the bus tour more than my wife.) I learned a significant amount about the history of Oslo during this tour. I wish we had more time at the Vigeland Sculpture Park (or in other words, being told that we only had less than two minutes at the most significant monolithic sculpture area in the park and that we should not walk around and take photos was not the best approach for visitors). Because of a skiing competition and very dense fog, we also were not permitted to stop at the ski jump, which was somewhat disappointing. Our tour guide was definitely outstanding and I would recommend this tour solely on her educational information. The 90-minute fjord cruise portion of this tour was less than notable. Maybe it was the rain, or maybe it was the absence of any explanation of where we were going (other than periodic explanations on a TV screen), but my wife and I found the fjord cruise portion of this 5 1/2-hour trip boring and something which we might have otherwise skipped.
Great

Friendly and professional. The tour was great don't force me to write a book. Change your algorithm.
Nice tour
Fabrizio_B, Feb 2024
It was a nice tour. We did not like that after the bus tour we were put on the boat for the fiord cruise without the opportunity for eating our lunch. We ended up eating at 4;30 pm. Which is not ideal when travelling with a young kid.
Thumbs up or Thumbs down

The bus tour with Anita was great. The cruise left something to be desired. But it was short and quick, so I guess that is good. But the bus tour was great and informative!

Boring and dry

The view was amazing but the captain or the staff made no efforts to explain few things guest were bored sitting around and figuring it themselves we do understand there was the app to download but people like personal touch on a whole it's a waste of money
Oslo Highlight's and Boat Tour!
David_L, Mar 2023
This combination of tour and boat trip is a great idea. The first part was very informative. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. But I can imagine a larger group as ours was pretty small but still on a large bus. When you split with the tour bus and move onto the boat ride and the others hit some museums (I guess) you are kind of left to your own devices. When we checked in the driver stated someone would grab us and take us to the right boat. However, when we got of the boat they stated it is over there, peri four and the boat name on the side is Troll. Ultimately that information was incorrect. So we had 8 or 9 people in SeaCat of the proper line and boat. But we made it and it was fine. We sat outside and in the front that was great except for when it started people were all around you trying to take picture around you and over you where you sat. It almost made me miss the previous pandemic and distancing. Either way, you can do this tour and the other separately (same cost) and the same day, Your choice.

Dear Guest, Thank you for joining our tour and for your feedback! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the first part of the tour with the bus and teh guide! As for the second part with the fjord cruise, that is without the guide as on the boat they offer an audio-guide and lately an app with commentary in different languages. I apologize if the driver's information was unclear, I will personally talk to him and make sure he has gotten everything correctly from now on. Thanks again for your feedback and I hope you've had an overall nice sightseeing in Oslo with us! All the best!

The tour guide was great- she was very knowledgeable. I liked that the tour combined time on the bus and time to stand up and walk around. The best part of the tour was the time in Vigeland Park. I would not have gone to this Museum if it wasn't included in the tour and it was an interesting stop.

We had only one day in Oslo this time and we were lucky to choice this sightseeing tour. Everything was great, Holmenkollen, the Vigeland park, the Fram Museum and last, but not least, our guide. The only problem was that we had'nt enough time in the park, only ca. 30 or 40 min. I think 1 hour in additional time would have been good.

This is a great tour if you want to see Oslo in a Nutshell . Our guide, Helen, was very knowledgeable and passionate about her country. She had a great sense of humour, despite there being a big group on our tour. Would recommend highly.

It is the best way to cover the most important sightseeing spot in the city in few hours. The tour was on time and organized. I love it.

I felt that I really got a true sense of the City, visiting tourist areas and locations off the beaten path. The Viking Ship Museum is very much worth a visit! Amazing to see the centuries-old ships that have been restored and displayed.

It was a solid tour and we saw lots of interesting things. I was interested in the Viking Ship Museum and of course there wasn't enough time there so I returned the following day and spent the morning. Could have left out the stop at the ski jump. Overall I would recommend it.
