Traveler Tips

The guide to know the very best places to take pictures and will take good pictures of you and your spouse highly recommended , only caution is watch the times zones they are very different up there
I would recommend to anyone to take a longer tour if you love to take photos so you have more time in the canyon.

Beautiful hike with a great guide, ask for Antonio! He changed the settings on all our cameras for the best photos. He pointed out so many beautiful unique spots and was knowledgable about the canyon. I never felt rushed and felt they allocated the perfect amount of time to hike through. Morning was a great time to go since it was cool and the light was prefect for photos.

Antonio our guide was the BEST! He was so attentive and knowledgeable and you can just tell he enjoys showing the canyon. The canyon itself is insanely beautiful try and book 9-11 am if possible to get the best light coming into the canyon. They do a great job of allowing small groups in so there is very little crowding. Antonio is the best guide for this as well he made this so much more enjoyable by pointing out great photo spots, taking photos, and adjusting camera apps! He went above and beyond! Please remember to bring tips for your guides! Amazing amazing experience would totally do this again! Went in February and it is off season but still stunning.

Amit_M, Jan 2024
Out of the world sites. Viator was the best site to book this through due to flexibility and various options provided. I tried a few other websites. but found better rates and more options on viator Tour was really nice. What i understand there are only 2 tour operators for Lower canyons and i was booked with Kens. the whole process was seamless and easy. Our guide was Lenny. To be honest he seemed a little bored and not too enthusiastic. i understand you do it 5 times a day, but then i have seen other guides do a lot more. Again you dont get to choose, so cant help that. Overall the pics are amazing and so is the experience. I love how the site is protected to be enjoyed by more people in the future
