Traveler Tips

It is a must-do if it's your first time in Philly and doesn't know exactly where to go or visit.
I would recommend some tree trimming be done by the city to make the journey safer.
The convenience of hop on and off is helpful, just this particular guide just was lacking knowledge and staying focus.

Let’s See Philly
Tyeriska_T, Mar 2024
First time in Philadelphia, we want to see the city and understand the history behind different districts and communities
Too much rain for the tour to happen
Antoinette_K, Mar 2024
I received a phone call the tour was cancelled due to rain. I’m waiting for a refund. It was disappointing
Wow, who knew?
Darla_Q, Mar 2024
Philadelphia has so much history and so much to offer. I knew I would learn a lot, but there was so much more. Our tour hit all the highlights and then some. Very interesting and fun.
Hop on. You’ll love it.
Jim_H, Mar 2024
I loved the tour guides on each bus I took. The guides were funny, knowledgeable and just helped us fall even more in love with Philly!
Just Okay
Mason_E, Mar 2024
There was a lot of interesting information, which was good, but nobody told me when I paid for the tickets that the three main places I wanted to see were skipped because of road detours. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have bought the tickets.
It was informative and...
Lilia_G, Mar 2024
It was informative and interesting, the tour guide was good and pleasant. The bus driver won’t stop long enough for pictures
It was a informative experience
Nicole_S, Feb 2024
The tour guides are very informative and we learned a lot about the city. The only thing that wasn’t great was that the buses were full. So the wait for a bus was at times a bit long Other then that I can recommend the tour
Good tour despite the detours
Tara_K, Feb 2024
The narrator was great!!, the only issue was the entire tour stops could not be completed due to street detours. We had to detour after 21, so we were unable to complete stops 22-27
No Sense
Angie_E, Jan 2024
Reserved 2 seats for 1/22 on Sunday 1/21, just to show up at stop 1 and find out the bus tour was cancelled! We were from FL and we were out there walking around and the streets were clear very disspaointing!
Trip was cancelled viator didn’t notify me
Carlie_R, Jan 2024
Viator sent me 100000 emails reminding me about my tickets and trip, but never once emailed me that it was cancelled.
A Let Down
Stephnie_H, Jan 2024
After being stranded for over an hour in 34 degree weather, wr called the helpline and was told that their schedule was now different as it’s low season. This was not communicated to us prior. Thankfully they were helpful to send a van to pick us up to take us back to stop # 1. We had only made it to stop # 6. It was a waste of money. We could have done what we saw in the six stops on our own. If schedule had been communicated and beret whether to wait long periods it might have been different.
Great experience!
Jacqueline_A, Jan 2024
Nice experience to learn about Philadelphia. The presenters were very knowledgeable. I would recommend.
Disappointed
Robyn_S, Nov 2023
My tour was cancelled and they haven’t refunded my money and I contacted them twice after they called me about it.
Not Recommended
Dean_H, Nov 2023
Not recommended. Overpriced. Stops difficult to locate. Digital tickets need to be scanned and converted to paper tickets prior to boarding—the people on the bus can’t do that. Tour guide was a standup comic wannabe who really should look for another line of work—totally inappropriate and useless. He spent more time laughing at his own “jokes” and urging passengers to tip generously than he did describing the sights. Quite disappointing.
A little flexibility would be nice for mistakes…
Greg_B, Nov 2023
Booked a tour and cancelled within a few minutes after realizing our friends booked with a different company. I saw no refunds within 24 hours, but given that the reservation and cancellation were within under an hour, I would hope they could forgive a mistake. BTW- the buses will honor each other’s tickets, so it doesn’t really even matter which company you book with.
Good value
Jennifer_M, Nov 2023
Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great way to orient yourself. Unfortunately, could not see waterfront due to construction work. Highly recommend.
Easy to get off at places...
Angela_C, Nov 2023
Easy to get off at places you wanted to see. The maps easy to follow and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Would take this again when I come back.
Bus ok, guide good, scheduling not good
STEVEN_P, Nov 2023
Waiting for bus, we just missed one, and would have had to wait 45 minutes for the next one, according to the guide. We took other transportation
