What To Expect

Visit the beautiful Phi Phi Islands on this speedboat tour from Phuket. Enjoy a hassle-free day, with round-trip transfers, lunch, refreshments, snorkeling gear, life jacket, and insurance all included.

Your morning starts with pickup from your Phuket hotel and transfer to Rassada Pier. Enjoy light refreshments while getting a safety briefing, then board the speedboat, and soak up the scenery on the way to the Phi Phi Islands.

Stop at Maya Bay and see the beach where “The Beach” was filmed. Next, enjoy a swim at Phileh Lagoon on Phi Phi Leh. Look for birds at Viking Cave and monkeys at Monkey Beach during brief stops.

Break for a buffet lunch and then snorkeling on Phi Phi Don. The last stop of the boat tour will be either Bamboo Island or Khai Island, depending on the option selected, for snorkeling.
Your tour ends with drop-off back at your Phuket hotel.

Organised, but overcrowded.

We started our day being picked up by a mini-bus. The driver was a little late so he was a little rushed when driving us there. I think it's best that all of our safety are top priority even if we were running a bit late. We got to a meeting area at the pier or dock where we registered our presence. I think we were supposed to be listening to a run down of the days schedule, but the building was so crowded that we just sat outside near the door to listen to what's said. We hopped onto the speedboat by 9 or 930am. I believe there were supposed to be light refreshments in the morning, but we didn't get any. I could be wrong. The things that were provided to us through the day are: 1. Water and coca cola during speedboat ride 2. Tamarind biscuits 3. Sea sick medicine (pick it up from morning counter before departure) Our first stop was Phi Phi Island and we were dropped there to swim around a little. At this island, the tour will offer you an additional option to go on a Long Boat Ride. 2000 baht per long boat, I believe. You can share with another couple or book a private one. The Long Boat experience is great if you want instagram pictures or a tour around the giant standing rocks. The tour company should explicitly state that if customers choose to go on the Long Boat experience, they will be missing out on their time for swimming around Phi Phi Island. We stopped at a lunch buffet after and it served 4 dishes, a few sides, fruits and water. The variety was limited but food tasted excellent! We were able to roam around on this island, where we found a dispensary so there's that, if anyone is wondering... We then went snorkelling for 30 minutes at another island, but it felt more like 20. Just the time taken to transition from activity and then back to boat. We then visited Monkey Island (where we weren't able to disembark for some reason). It was our luck, there was only 1 monkey hanging off the tree branch. I read other reviews and it seems that other customers had the same experience - not being able to disembark to go onto the island... I guess it's best to assume that this experience will only visit Monkey Island. After that, we passed by a local tourist island that was like a pit stop for late-lunch. Lots of food and drink stalls. Beach chairs were to rent. I recommend bringing a beach towel to sit and enjoy the view. Might be a bit sunny. Overall, the schedule was organised and the amount of time in water was fair for someone who doesnt love water activities (1 hour swimming at Phi Phi, 30 mins snorkelling). If you love water activities, you might find the trip a bit rushed. As for the tour guide crew, they were very thoughtful and nice. Our main host Jenny was very helpful to take photos of us and hold onto our phones while we were swimming around in the water! A few things that the operating company shoulder consider: 1. Sun safety: The tour is clearly overbooked. There is a sheltered area and unsheltered area on the speedboat. The tour company should only book enough customers to fit in the cool and sheltered area and leave the outside area as optional for photos and view. The poor people who sat at the front of the speedboat was sadly assigned that seat for the rest of the trip. This means sitting in the sun for a total of: 1 hour + 40 mins + 15mins and so on... I think they sat in the sun for up to 3 hours because there was no more space inside. Unfortunately, these people also missed out on the information and whole-group conversation with our tour guide Jenny because they were outside. It's unacceptable and disappointing, because even the tour guides knew to sit inside and stay out of the sun... yet it seemed okay for customers to sit outside in the sun for hours?? 2. Tipping: At the end of our day, the tour guide crew went around with a jar to collect tips. I think it somewhat puts public pressure onto us to tip. They should have announced that the tip jar will be left at x location if we would like to tip. I thought that that was a low blow. My tips if you go on this tour: 1. Eat breakfast! 2. Bring a toilet roll (no toilets visited throughout the day had toilet paper) 3. Bring sun screen and a hat 4. Try to secure a spot inside the speedboat, if you can.. book a tour that has a bigger boat. Some boats had full shelter and more space to move around. 5. Bring a beach towel to sit on

Not a very good excursion it was very unorganized and the water where they took us to snorkeling was smacking the boat everywhere so it was impossible to snorkel Also the Russian tour guide was ignorant and was loud ! In all my experience was not what I expected as we have done many tours in are travels!

A must but too short time

Very happy with the experience, Emmy and the team were amazing. Sadly my partner got sea sick, so definitely something to prepare for. Emmy was very caring and gave lots of advice to help the sea sickness. Less snorkeling than I'd hoped, but still excellent when we did. All of the areas are stunning. Overcrowded

The crew was great, especially our tourguide Yaya (?). The islands are overcrowded and most people don't care about the environment. Also overcrowded with russians trying to get the best insta in front of a pond.

It's unfortunate that you didn't specify exactly what was so awful about your trip to Phi Phi Islands, other than the fact that, upon the guide's recommendation, you opted for an additional private long-tail boat trip in Phi Lei Lagoon. It's worth noting that we are not affiliated with the additional services you can purchase during the tour, such as jet ski rental, scuba diving, long-tail boat rides, etc. These services are provided by third-party companies and are not included in the tour. The stop at Phi Lei Lagoon is for swimming, and there's also the option to jump into the water from the boat. Regarding the long-tail boat trip, as the guide mentioned, you opted for a private boat for 1800 THB, which is a short trip inside Phi Lei Lagoon (at low tide with a landing on a small beach) with a total duration of no more than 40 minutes, aimed at taking beautiful photos on a traditional Thai boat with a stunning view of the lagoon in the background, nothing more and nothing less. After the long-tail boat trip, you return to the speedboat to continue the tour program. We regret that the tour did not meet your expectations and will strive to improve our service. Safe travels!

I am happy to have visited all those places, but this is an experience I would not repeat, just because there are too many tourists. Maya Bay was beautiful, I even saw a small shark, but I tried to enjoy and not look at the thousands of people behind me 🙄It was also kind of rushed, but that's probably the only way to visit all the places in one day. And also take an anti-vomiting pill or two, because it's not a smooth ride 😅

Great all in one tour

Wow! What an incredible tour that introduced use to such beautiful places. We travelled with family group, and everyone was super happy. We had plenty opportunity to walk around a different island and snorkel. At no point it was felt rushed. The boat ride was a bit bumpy but speedy. Included buffet was actually very good. We opted for a tour that includes bamboo Island , which was a little bit more expensive but totally worth it - amazing snorkeling site. Our last step was at the chill island, where we discovered a really good reggae bar (say hello to a sleeping cat) :) All in all, it was a great trip at the affordable price.

Fun full day tour

This tour is a busy full day trip which was really enjoyable! You're collected from your accommodation and taken to the pier, here we had breakfast and waited quite some time for the other transfers to arrive. Every seat was taken on the boat, it was very crowded and not the most comfortable, but you're only on the boat for an hour or so before arriving at the first swimming location. You get to stop and swim/snorkel 4 times throughout the day, you can see monkeys in the trees which was pretty cool. Lunch buffet was delicious, and you get water, coke, and biscuits on the boat throughout the day also. Thanks to Super Mario and his team for looking after us.
