excellent 1st trip to Plymouth !!! I have 16 connections to the Mayflowe and great to see where my ancestors lived
Don't miss - fantastic!
Julie_D, Oct 2023
Loved the history - everyone working had great knowledge of the history of these sites. It was fantastic! Downtown by Mayflower II is also a don't miss with the food, little shops and walk along the harbor.

Plimouth Village and the live actors made it feel you were back in time with their cool ways of talking!!
Good time.

Very interesting historical conversation around historical setting. Highly recommended. Don't return to your village without a visit to this one.
Awesome time

It felt like I was back in time when the Pilgrims arrived. Everything looked authentic. Seeing how they lived was impressive considering they arrived with almost nothing.
A trip back to the 1600’s

Staff in era costume were great. Of the era structures with there dirt floor cabins, fire places with a smoky smell in the cabins puts you in the era. Museum was very good.
A convincing trip back in time

The young actors were superb. They staid in character and were so convincing that I really felt I had gone back in time. They were so knowledgeable about their person and the whole Mayflower/Plimoth experience. My whole family loved it.
Exactly what I expected...

Exactly what I expected The English village interpreters were in character all the time. The wampanog village was not up and running. The mayflower and the first mill were well versed. Well done.
Fun Museum Experience

The museum and re-creations of Indian life and that of Plymouth colonists is definitely worth seeing. The reenactors that wandered about were fun and easy to converse with. We definitely enjoyed our time there.
Very interactive tour!

You can't visit Plymouth without stopping at the Plimoth Patuxet museums! I love that there are actors dressed in period clothing who walk around and kind of show you what it was like to live there back in 1620. Not only that, but they are very knowledgeable and they even talk the way they talked back then. You really feel like you get to be a part of it! The other members of the staff are equally knowledgeable and will answer any question you have. I was a little disappointed that the Wampanoag area wasn't as big as the Pilgrim area. I would've really liked to see native actors in that area. I do hope that it gets bigger and better!
Good acting

Interactive time with period characters, the exchange was truly realistic not like they were talking to someone not of their time
Awesome afternoon

We had a great time seeing the Native American section wish there were more to that area. The English settlement was super cool to be able to walk in the shoes of the early settlers. The Mayflower was neat and the Gristmill was interesting. All in all a great day spent with family.
Wonderful experience

Beautiful, immersive experience with knowledgeable guides along the way to explain /answer questions about life in those times. The actors in the village were extremely entertaining. A must-see in Plymouth.
meeting circle

The meditating meeting circle on the Native American side was my favorite. High energy in the land. I’ll definitely be going back.
Great experience

If you like archeology and want to learn the cultures how the people live to survive the environment by respecting all that surrounded them and learned from them then this is for you .It’s a great experience, educational and amazing .At least from my part .
Don’t miss it
amyleslie, Jul 2023
Great experience—learned a lot—everyone enjoyed. Was a bit of a long, strenuous walk for the grandparent but was kind of hot so idk .
Rickie_D, Jul 2023
We got to walk through, engage and learn at our own pace. Enlightening to review the history and life experiences of those before us.
A great value and experience
Lisa_Y, Jul 2023
This trip was definitely worth it and is very hands-on, great for kids and adults. We had my daughter’s registered service dog along in a stroller and there were no problems at all. We had to put him in a dog carrier for the Mayflower portion, which is definitely worth attending too! A great and very educational trip with nice gift shops too!
Special Wampanoag Village Experience
Amanda_P, Jul 2023
My favorite part of the experience was the Wampanoag village where Adam explained to us that the people were matriarchal. I'm a teacher and I did not know that! Cannot wait to relay it to my students. You have a lot of knowledgeable people at this museum, but Adam was my favorite!
