Underwhelming experience

Very disappointing day. The sunrise was not worth it during this time of the year, which could have been mentioned by the operator. After that, we visited some caves. We were not able to enter one of them due to some physical constraints (the difficulty of this cave was also not mentioned anywhere upfront). With 3 hours and only the boat ride on the lake left, we requested to drive to the World Peace Pagoda. Although the driver and guide were willing to do this, the tour operator did not allow them to do this. The day ended with the boat ride which is not even included in the relatively hefty price of this tour! Upon arrival at the port, we had to pick our desired ride and pay the full amount (so no value for the guide/driver there, we could have walked there ourselves). The only positive I can name of this tour was the friendliness of both the tour guide and the driver, they were great.

Best tour of Pokhara!

We were picked up in a clean, comfortable car by driver Ram and driven to see sunset at Sarangkot - our first views of the Himalayas! Ram then dropped us back at our hotel for breakfast and collected us 2 hours later for a tour of temples and caves in Pokhara. Ram was a friendly and helpful guide, and took photos for us at some of the locations. We especially enjoyed the bat cave with 60,000 horseshoe bats! Ram kindly dropped us off at the boat dock at Fewa Lake after this tour. We highly recommend this tour to all travellers visiting Pokhara.

Can't beat a full-day private tour! It was just Ram and I driving around Pokhara seeing all the best sights in town. He was a kind soul and shared the best he could, even with a bit of a language barrier. He was all kind enough to stop at an ATM and grab something to eat along the way. And since we had a cloudy morning, he sent me some of his own photos of what the Himalayan peaks looked like. Super nice guy and would def go again with friends!

Driver & car was ok, driver was on time but not very happy with his knowledge, we were extremely disappointed with Seti river gourge & Devi's falls, there is nothing to see, sheer wastage of time

No merece la pena por ese precio

Soy una persona bastante aficionada a hacer tours cuando llega a otras ciudades, sin embargo, no recomendaría hacer este tour con esta compañía. En primer lugar no se pusieron en contacto previamente con nosotros para confirmar la hora y el lugar de encuentro, como suele hacer la mayoría de los tours organizados. Fuimos nosotros los que tuvimos que contactar con ellos. En segundo lugar en la descripción del tour aparece (GUIDED TOUR), lo que yo interpreto como que habrá una persona que nos dará información de lo que estamos visitando. Sin embargo nos llevamos una sorpresa al ver que únicamente venía con nosotros un conductor que nos fue dejando en los lugares indicados en la ruta. Descontentos con esta situación, en nuestra penúltima parada (David Fall) les pedimos si por favor pudieran llevarnos a la Pagoda de la Paz que se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche desde ese punto. Cuando nuestro conductor contactó con la agencia le dijeron que podía hacerlo con un cargo extra de 2.000 rupias. Hay que tener en cuenta que en este tour ya habíamos pagado 56€ (7.840 rupias) por persona, y que en ningún momento había sido guiado, por lo que no estábamos dispuestos a pagar ese extra que suponía un 25% más del precio, y que para los precios de la vida en Nepal ya me resultaba bastante elevado por un simple día con un conductor. Por todo esto nos bajamos del vehículo para ir por nuestra cuenta, y recibimos varias llamadas de la agencia, que insistían en que el guía no estaba en la sección de inclusiones del tour, pero desde luego si estaba en la descripción del tour y por esa regla de tres tampoco estaba escrito en exclusiones. Además de todo esto en el tour tampoco se incluyen las entradas de los diferentes puntos que visitas con lo cual al final resulta un tour bastante caro si lo piensas porque has pagado 112€ (casi 16.000 rupias) por tener un coche con conductor 10h (con una parada de 2h para desayunar en el hotel) y a parte de eso otros 5-6€ por persona en entradas. Finalmente accedieron a llevarnos a la pagoda de la paz sin cargo, aunque el conductor ya estaba enfadado y nosotros descontentos por la discusión. Por lo tanto creo que si de lo que se trata es de llevarte a los diferentes puntos con un conductor es muchísimo más barato proponérselo a cualquier taxista de la calle, que estoy seguro de que no te va a cobrar 112€ por un recorrido de 8-10h.

Lamento mucho escuchar sobre tu experiencia negativa con la compañía de tours en Pokhara. Es decepcionante cuando las expectativas no coinciden con la realidad de la experiencia. Es comprensible que te sintieras frustrado por la falta de comunicación previa y la discrepancia entre lo que se prometía en la descripción del tour y lo que realmente se ofreció. Además, el costo adicional para visitar un lugar que originalmente no estaba incluido en el itinerario debe haber sido una fuente de frustración adicional, especialmente sin la inclusión de las tarifas de entrada. Espero que en el futuro puedas encontrar una experiencia de turismo que se ajuste mejor a tus expectativas y que te permita disfrutar plenamente de la belleza de Pokhara sin los inconvenientes que encontraste en este tour.
