What To Expect

Explore two of Washington’s ancient natural areas of the Olympic National Park on this full-day, small-group tour. You’ll visit both Hoh Rainforest and Rialto Beach on this guided tour. You’ll hear all about the areas from your guide, but you’ll still have plenty of time to explore each area on your own.

Your tour starts with meeting your group and guide in Port Angeles. From here, get settled into your vehicle for the drive to Hoa Rainforest. Check out the Hall of Mosses and Spruce Nature Trail, and choose a guided hike if you like.

Make a small stop in Forks, and then head to Rialto Beach. Wander around the sea stacks with the Pacific Ocean’s waves crashing on the shoreline.

For lunch, you can either bring a picnic, or purchase lunch along the way at one of the stops.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Adam was extremely knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. I would recommend this tour to anyone thinking of going to the HOH Rainforest! We also got lunch & went to the beach. It was nice leaving the driving to someone else and getting the history of the area during this trip. An excellent day it was!

Hidden Gem in Washington State

I usually hike with friends and avoid tours as uninteresting and too tame. Not Olympic Hiking Company. The owner has a compelling origin story and the guides (we had Oscar and Bob) are first rate--they know the area like the back of their hands and engage with guests in wonderful ways. Then there's the environment of Olympic National Forest that is stunningly beautiful. The oxygen of the Hoh Rain Forest alone is worth the price of admission. Well organized and paced with a nice group of people from all over the world. The tour is good base for exploring the park on your own later on and super fun.

I participated in this tour with my daughter. We love hiking and nature, so we enjoyed a lot. We were impressed by the beauty of the mysterious forest, which was like something out of a fairy tale. The guide was very knowledgeable about the nature and history of Olympic National Park. We not only enjoyed the tour, but learned a lot as well.
