    For all guests who have selected option with transfer, we will pick you up at the hotel lobby or designated pick-up location. Detailed will be emailed to you upon confirmation. Please note that pick-up starts 90 minutes before for shuttle bus transfer and 30 minutes before for private transfer.

Pickup details

All hotels and ports in Reykjavik, and Keflavik International Airport (Please kindly select the option with the transfer if you require this service) Please kindly inform the pick-up location if it is not on the list. Due to local regulations, certain hotels/guesthouses/apartments do not allow for lobby pick-up. Guests will have to go to the nearest bus stop for their pick-up. For Reykjavik pick-ups from the hotel or nearest bus stop, you will be picked up with a minibus and transferred to the Bus Terminal to join a coach bus that will take you to the Lagoon. You will be dropped off at Blue Lagoon. The same procedure is applied for the return to Reykjavik. Please kindly note that pick-up from Keflavik International Airport starting from the 1st of June 2022 is only available at 07:30, 09:30, 12:30, and 16:30. Also, pick-up from Blue Lagoon to Keflavik International Airport starting from the 1st of June 2022 is only available at 12:00, 14:30, and 16:00. For the Hotels and accommodations located in Keflavik Town, the pick-up will be made from Keflavik Airport only. Transportation from your accommodation from Keflavik town to Keflavik Airport is not included.

  • We advise you to not bring jewlery in the lagoon as it might get damaged from the elevated mineral content.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Blue lagoon was amazing. Cold day and so relaxing in the water. We had some bus issues but our travel tour was fabulous and helped us fix it.

Poor communication regarding pick up for the Blue Lagoon

paid extra money for elevated transportation service for my 80+ year old parents, and provided tour operator with all of their contact information (phone numbers and emails). Despite this, communication once in Iceland, regarding where to go for pick up, was poor. The actual time at the BL is amazing, but suggest looking at other operators to get to the BL.

Dear Melissa, We are sorry to hear that they encountered trouble in getting to the pick-up location. We tried our best to reconfirm with them the pick-up spot and the time, early in the morning of the tour, in both writing and by phone call. Also, we were prone to reschedule them once they missed their initial transfer. From our end, the service was on point, but since this is not a private transfer that picks them up from their hotel lobby, but a shared transfer by bus, we could only help them with the directions to the bus stop. We are happy that they enjoyed their time in the Lagoon and hope to see you again!
Scam Company & Prices Book with Blue Lagoon Directly

This is one of the biggest scams ever and I will have to get a lawyer to see how far it goes. The company is marking up the price by more than 100% and giving low quality transportation that left me in the isle of a speeding bus without a seatbelt because the bus driver didn’t want me to sit in the front row even thought it was the only available seat. They charged me almost $300 USD for something that would’ve only been $150 if I got top level service but it was actually them purchasing cheap tickets and scalping them to me at a price more than double the premium service would’ve called. Book directly through the company or from a more trustworthy company.

As previously explained, the drivers reserve the first seat for customers with low mobility/traveling with a child/ or who need any special assistance, but this was not your case. However, your seat on the bus was provided and the service was fully completed according to your booking details. Safety being always our top priority. In case our customers need more comfort and privacy, we always advise them to book private transportation on their tour instead of a shared service. Regarding the pricing, please make sure that when comparing prices, you take into consideration the exact product including all services mentioned on your booking: type of admission, transfers included, or not. Your package was a Premium one with shared transfers included. Also, each provider has different terms and conditions for booking, hence the different prices. The flexibility of cancellation and change that is offered on Viator is something that is valued and highly appreciated by many travelers. In the end, booking with us was 100% a personal decision and we have done our best to kindly accommodate all of your last-minute amendments and reschedulings for this booking. We hope that regardless of all these mishaps, you have a great time in Iceland!

One of my top places that I’ve visited and loved. The Blue Lagoon was such a great experience. The restaurant and cafe both had great food. My friend and I had the best day there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved the blue lagoon and we got premium package with cleaner facilities and three face masks! BUT… If you are not using the optional transportation to and from the lagoon, it is better to buy entry tickets on the Blue Lagoon website… it is much much cheaper!!! 4 stars because I could have saved money by not purchasing the tickets here.

The lagoon was beautiful and most importantly the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My husband has dementia and they made certain that he and I were not separated during the preparation and departure process. We truly enjoyed Blue Lagoon.

The face mask experience was awesome!!! There is also a swim up bar. The water is warm and there is also a sauna and steam room.

The blue lagoon is a trip well worth doing, the coach travel was best forgotten. They picked us up from cruise terminal we went 15 mins and told to get off and consolidate on another coach . Absolutely no conversation from the coach driver the whole way there and back .

Dear Alan, Thank you for your feedback! Please note that the nature of this shared service does not imply live guidance. It is transportation combined with entrance at the lagoon. However, we are available anytime for our customers in case they need any assistance. Also, the tour description mentions the fact that after being picked up from Reykjavik bus stops you will be transferred to a Bus Terminal to board a coach. Our drivers are always happy to provide an indication if one asks. Hope you had a nice time in Iceland!

All of the employees were helpful and the dressing rooms were clean . About an hour after we got in the lagoon it started raining and it was really cold so we got out. I’m sure we would have enjoyed it more with out the rain.

Visited lagoon on last day of 10 day visit. Spent 5 days hiking 35+ miles. Planned this stop to soak our achy bones before heading home. We went on a Saturday at 1 pm. It was crowded but that was fine. There is plenty of room to find an empty space. We spent most of our time next to the vent boxes b/c that's where all the HOT water was. Enjoyed the silica mask that's included. Guests/"social influencers" were annoying w/ their phones in the water. Left ours in the lockers to fully enjoy the experience. Bar at edge of water was awesome! Stayed 2 hours.
