Please note that Nicetravel offers free pickup and drop off from hotels within Reykjavik. As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik centre, your pick up may be from the nearest bus stop. After receiving your pickup information, we will notify you of your exact pick up location. If you do not require hotel pickup, you can meet the tour at Nicetravel office in Fiskislóð 45M, 101 Reykjavik. Please notify Nicetravel directly if you intend to use this option and be there before 08:20 (if 9 AM departure is chosen) or 9:20 (if 10 AM departure is chosen). Pickup starts 30 minutes before departure so please be ready at your pickup location 30 minutes before the departure and look out for a bus with NICE travel logos.

What To Expect

Your full-day trip to Iceland’s top tourist destinations begins in the morning: With pickup directly from your central Reykjavik hotel, logistics work seamlessly. Hop aboard your comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle, and make use of the on-board Wi-Fi to stay connected and document your journey.

Your first destination is the ever-popular Golden Circle itinerary, which you don’t need to worry about navigating yourself. Discover the UNESCO-listed Thingvellir (site of the world’s first parliament), the mighty Gulfoss waterfall, and the Geysir hot spring. With included tickets, you’ll also get up close and personal with the Kerid Volcanic Crater, which many other tours skip over.

Next, head to Iceland’s top tourist attraction: the Blue Lagoon. With included comfort tickets, you’ll have two hours to soak in the spring waters, enjoy a silica mud mask, and make use of the included drink and towel.

Finally, in the evening, return through the scenic countryside to your Reykjavik hotel, where this experience ends.

This tour was fantastic. The tour company Nice Travel was excellent. Out tour guide DAVID was phenomenal ! He kept us on schedule, he provided us with his tremendous knowledge and history of the area, and he made the whole trip great fun! He was simply the best. We have toured throughout Europe and this was the best tour and best tour guide of all of our tours! Don’t pass it up. I highly recommend Nice Travel and especially their tour guide DAVID!

Perfect one-day Iceland experience

This was such a great experience. We got see so much of Iceland with plenty of time for snacks and lunch and relaxing at the blue lagoon in the evening. Our guide, Mika, was so wonderful! He shared so much knowledge about the area and pointed out the best spots to see. I would highly recommend this day trip to anyone who has one day to spend exploring Iceland.

It was a perfect day, from start to finish, everything was smooth, we had plenty of time at the stops to enjoy the scenery and take our photos, and blue lagoon at the end of the day was such a treat. April was a great month to visit, avoided all crowds, and weather was fantastic. Elias was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. We fell in love with Iceland!

The best tour that we have in our 5 days vacation. I strongly recommend this especially for first timer like us in Iceland. Nice travel which provided the transportation/driver/tour guide was very accommodating and very professional. No dull moment in the bus for the whole 11 hours ride. Thor from NiceTravel is great providing historical background of the island couple with humor and laughter.

Our tour guide Siggy was amazing. He gave us the perfect guidance to make sure we got the most out of every stop. He also made extra stops to see Icelandic horses and try some Icelandic ice cream….yummm! Best way to see Iceland when you want to do a lot in very little time.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to attend the start of the tour for our own reasons nothing to do with the tour. We had however hired a car for our trip, so after calling up to enquire if we could still use the tickets for the blue lagoon, the tour made phone calls and arrangements to meet us and give us the bands to get into the blue lagoon still so we didn’t completely miss our. Everybody I spoke to was kind and friendly and the team went out of their way to ensure we were still able to attend the blue lagoon which was amazing! Thank you very much for being able to organise this, it’s appreciated a lot.

The blue lagoon was magnificent and we lucked out as it was offseason so there was plenty of room! Seeing the geysers was a special event. We loved Bart our tour guide.

Was a really great trip with Walter. We hit all the "big" spots, with a few small extra stops thrown in. We learned a LOT about Iceland while also enjoying the amazing scenery. And the end of the day was perfect - though we didn't go to Blue Lagoon (closed), we went instead to Hvammsvik which was relaxing and amazing. We were relaxed and exhausted at the end of a long day, totally worth it

The tour was very well planned. Special shout out to our tour guide, Christoph (aka Kiki). Our travel was through Nice Travel agency which organised the tour very well. Blue lagoon was closed due to volcanic activity but we were adjusted instead in Sky Lagoon which was a good place. Highly recommended!
