What To Expect

Enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned van as you begin your journey away from your conveniently located pickup point, located either in the south or west zone of Rio.

Begin your trip by venturing through the Tijuca Forest with your guide. Along the way, make a stop at Paineiras to embark on a journey to the sumit of Corcovado, where the Christ the Redeemer statue awaits. Then, ascend to new heights as your ride the cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Afterward, satisfy your appetite witha meal at a steakhouse before continuing your exploration with visits to the Maracana Stadium and Sambadrome.

When the day is over, arrive back at your original location.

Geisa is an amazing guide who knows her backyard. What a wonderful, vibrant woman. The tour itself was great, with enough stops and balance between getting out and passing by in the bus. Lunch was fantastic, it’s plentiful and all you can eat. I recommend this tour!

Gabrela was a great host we saw a lot of what Rio had to offer but never felt rushed. The lunch was delishishes. Crist the redemer was breath taking and the views from sugar loaf were worth the trip.

This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was Bruno. Bruno was very kind and considerate and patient. Bruno is also well speaking in English and Portuguese. He text all of us on WhatsApp to let us know what time he was going to arrive at our hotel. And also that help us be found when we needed to go to another destination. All of the sites to see were great. The transportation van was very nice and air condition. The only thing I would recommend is bringing motion sickness pills with you if you get easily sick in the car. Because the ride up to the Sugarloaf has a lot of curves.

This was an efficient way of seeing the key sights of Rio. Some of the inclusions were very brief and might feel rushed if you wanted to spend more time however it was right for this tour. Enough time was provided at the main locations of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. The information provided by the guide was relatively basic, whilst it must be challenging providing everything in 3 languages, there was no interesting information or detail provided. The BBQ lunch is very very poor. Selling this as one of the best steak restaurants in Rio is an outright lie and a disgrace. The meat was all overcooked and fatty, and there were no interesting varieties.. I also noticed nicer cuts of meat being offered to regular paying guests rather than those on the tour. There was a fairly good selection on the salad buffet however. The restaurant stopped offering more meats after about 30 mins, even though we had another 30 mins before leaving.. so it is not really all you can eat! They were very quick to offer deserts which are not included (something not clear on the tour itinerary) Overall the tour achieved what we wanted without the hassle of public buses or taxis everywhere. Although I think hiring a driver to take you to the two main sights then picking your own good restaurant would have been a fair bit cheaper and much much better experience.

The tour started with the Urca and sugarloaf mountain. The guide was great in his explanation shifting back and forth in different languages. Then we went to the interesting metropolitan csthedral and the selleron steps. Those were very interesting and colorful. The next stop Maracaná was just meh. And we did drive past the site of carnaval We then did lunch which was okay. Not as good as Fogo de Chao. The irony was it was across the road haha. There was meat but the wait staff was slow getting it to us sometimes as all the tour groups comes here Then the last stop was Christ the redeemer. Going up 900 m was nice cos it was cooler in the afternoon and not as many people but still busy nonetheless Overall a great trip

The tour was amazing. Alexia did a wonderful job giving us information on the city and LP was a great driver. They used their knowledge to make the most out of our time in Rio. I would definitely recommend this if you plan to visit Rio. Navigating the city and the monuments can be daunting even being an American who can speak the language, a bit below fluency.

This was the best tour of Rio that anyone can take! Some of the participants were rude to the tour guide, but the tour guide kept it all under control. I really enjoyed everything we saw. we did the entire tour in eight hours by cutting lines and having a tour guide that is time efficient. I could not imagine seeing everything in that short amount of time if there were no time limits like the ones our guide set. I did not want to go to the buffet because I thought it was going to be a buffet outside, and I also do not eat meat but the vegan and pescatarian options at the restaurant buffet were amazing. It is basically all you can eat. This is the best part of my trip to Brazil! Geissa Barreto is the best tour guide in Brazil 🥰
